This may be a repetition of a topic i put up last year but does anyone think its unfair that Spain ONLY get 4 world rounds (one third !) and a championship of their own in Spain, or do they actually have 2 Spanish championships!. Why dont we have our own UK domestic indoor Trials Championship then our lads will get a bit more practice/experience then go out and beat the Spanish lot. We could get REPSOL to sponsor it with no cover ups.

I have just been looking at the FIM site. It appears that there are only 30 riders registered to ride the full WTC!! At least 4 of those will not be riding the full series, or any at all, being Jarvis, Kuroyama, Connor and Colley and there is also the US guy Florin, I don't now whether he is going to ride any, other than the US round. That leaves us with a maximum no of 25 riders!!!! Say in one or two years time, when Lampkin & and maybe a few others decide to hang up their boots, who's going to be left, & what sort of Championship!! Its not that long ago that there were 50 plus riders & any rider that managed to score points had to work B***dy hard to g…

Following on from the story in T&MX, it made interesting reading and a little sense. To re-iterate the facts: It's meant to be a world championship, open to 6 riders Four of which are Spanish, one Brit, one Jap!! No disrespect to the Spanish boys for being good, but it's not exactly a global field And is it really trials riding or is it a 'show' if it's a 'show' should it be a world championship? And then look at the organisers, enough said. Many people ask me what I do as a sport, when I say trials riding '' Oh yes Iv'e seen that on Eurosport, jumping up and over man-made obsacles, you do that'' ''Not exactly''! Has the sport of trials gone too far? Does…

Right, which one of you p*** takers has submitted my details/email address to the FIM? Just received an email from Mr. Goldenberg with several attachments: - I can order 4 bibs for me, my minders and mechanic. A form to complete for the manufacturers title, a press release communique thingy, a form for my factory motorhome so that I can reserve paddock space. And, an entry form asking which of the World rounds that I will be attending... So come on, which joker was it?

I just watched the "Sunday" DVD from TrialsTV ,, and as one of many clear examples, Fuji , on lap one section 10 dabbed twelve times, yet he was given a score of 3. Is there some grade inflation going on here?

Is it now or never for Doug this year. 8 titles would be sooooooooooo good then no one could ever say he wasn't the best of all time even if we know he is already. I really think if the bike is better he has at least one more chance, and wouldn't it be the best of all to come back and beat the others when the competition is at its greatest. He wasn't that far away last year and if it hadn't been for the accident in France (bike?) things would have been closr. With another winter of test and development a contract with a big win bonus whats to stop him. Go Dougie!

Today I was at a meeting trialeros with fans, they answered questions. Cool. Each time sportsmen chose who from them must to speak. On the question "what they would like to do having left the trial" all have suggested to answer it Dougie. And he has very sincerely told he doesn

Lets get behind Dougie and make this campaign happen. Andy had a good idea with the personal messages. Anyone else have any other suggestions. Obviously you can get out there and support him and the other British riders. If anyone is planning any trips to watch the WTC let me know. I fancy Portugal or Spain and Krakows a most. May as well go watch the trials as I can't see Boro progressing in the UEFA Cup.

I am in Milan this weekend to celebrate my wife's birthday, coincidentally there happens to be a World Indoor Trials round on the Sunday. What a stroke of luck. Does anyone know what time the trials kicks off. (knowing Octagon they probably pull it and have a round in Spain instead).
