A comment was made on another topic that people were losing interest in the WTC. Whilst I disagree with this statement I'm curious to know other people opinions. The proffessionalism of the sport and the TV coverage has increased dramatically in the last few years, probably brought about by the likes of Tarres and Dougie but what next? From a British perspective, we all know Dougie best years are behind him but he is still an outstanding rider, up there with the leading pack. Dibs is looking stronger than ever, Browny is doing the business in the Junior followed by one Britains true hopefuls, Wiggy and there are numerous other young British riders, such as Danby, Sampson…

I sent a press release into Patrick's hometown newspaper called the Elkhorn Independent. The editor seemed mildly interested in this good news story. I was hoping those in the trials community both national and worldwide could give a letter to the editor shout-out for Patrick and how proud they should be for his accomplishments. Please title the subject 'Patrick Smage Shocks World' and let them know where you live. That oughta shake up this sleep town. elkinde@elkhornindependent.com

So Dynamite Bou has lost again to arch rival Adam Raga, this time in the Spanish Championship held on 24th June 2007. So has Raga proven in consecutive outdoor competitions that Bou can be beaten, which may prove an advantage before this coming weekends WTC Round in Italy or will Bou simply bounce back and show it was just a minor hiccup in his quest for his first outdoor WTC crown, to match his indoor one.

Rumor has it that the FIM will make 4 strokes mandatory in the 2008 World Rounds, can anyone confirm this? If it's true, will we see 4t 125's from Sherco, GasGas & Beta any time soon? It's 6 months away and there's no talk about this, what gives? Curious in California

Why don't the FIM sort world rounds out once and for all: A) No minders! The riders have to work on their own bikes! The minder argument may go down the line of 'well its a safety thing re: catching etc.' but I'm sure this can be overcome

Some of the current WTC Team Names are superb. Not only do we have Repsol Montesa HRC, Future Trial, Top Trial Team But what about HRC Kanto Meiwa Top Dogs. Top Dogs S-156. Mind you RFME Lafarge, don't they make plasterboard?

First lap scores. Junior. Browny and Wiggy first and second respectively. 125 Danby second. Still early days though. WTC Bou 1, Raga 4, Fuji 22, Doug 23, Fajardo 24, Caby 26, Dibs 33. Looks like a 2 horse race. FIM Results
