All new trials bikes seem to come with Michelin tyres fitted, are they better than other makes or just cheaper? Do different makes of tyre work better in different conditions? What tyre pressures are best for different conditions?

has anyone every tried a moto-x tyre on a trials bike? as the nobbles on a trials tyre are so close together, when its muddy, they are just like a slick, where as moto-x tyres have bigger nobbles, and they are futher apart, so they tend not to get caked with mud as much......... they are also

What rear trials tyre would you recommend for muddy hills / bogs. I currently have a Michelin x11 on and needs changed so I was looking at the Dunlop d803 or Michelin X-light tyres would appreciate your opinions and how long they have lasted. cheers

There is a new 2017 spec irc trials tyre for sale on eBay, anyone have any experience of these yet has anyone bought one??I've had a lot of trouble with Irc's coming off the rim and not holding pressure in the past but I do like the feel of them so would be intrigued as to whether or not these are a genuine improvement

Okay, so I want to get a trials bike road registered, MOTd and Taxed. The tyres I have on at the moment are marked "competition use", so will these fail the MOT? If I blob some road tyres on for the test, then subsequently swap back to the stickies, will Mr Plod nobble me? So, for all you chaps who ride combined On/Off road trials....what tyres do you use? Does Plod turn a blind eye at organised events? Cheers Randyrat

Hello gyus especially in Canada and Scotland. In Finland we have nice winter weather, it means snow everywhere and minus degrees (centigrade). No trial at all. Only training methods jumping in garage with your bike or riding figure eights on driveway. Figure eights on hard snow are very good training with Michelin, when there are some

Hi all. Just got a TYZ and the chain and sprockets need replacing. I was just wondering what the standard gearing was. Or if anybody can remember that far back if they altered either the front or rear sproket size for better gearing in sections. Cheers
