Hi Guys, I'm looking to buy some new tools (Ratchets, Sockets, Allen attatchments, Spanners. ect...) but seen as there are so many out there. I wondered which would be best for trials bike needs on a budget that won't break the bank. Thanks.

Hi am in a dilemma i am not sure on what bike to for. Its between a 2016 sherco 250 and a 2016 montesa cota 4rt I have tried the 2016 sherco and i thought it was great but i havent tried the 2016 montesa i have only tried the 2014 cota which i thought was great. Would it be worth going the extra money to get the cota 4rt or should i just go for the sherco. I have had 2 sherco's a 2004 200 and a 2011 290 I liked the 2004 but i am not fused on the 2011 Many thanks

I've had an arc welder for the past 10 years and have done a fair bit of welding inside and outside. The trouble is it only welds fairly thick steel and i seem to be constantly burning holes in steel and shelling out for aluminium welding. I've therefore decided to get a Mig and would like your advice on whether to get a Gas or Gasless Mig welder. I tend to do most of my welding inside but occasionally outside. I weld thick as well and thin alloy and steel. The weld of a Tig looks better , but i've been told you can get good flowing results on steel and aluminium with a Mig if you turn the power up. Is this right ? Im i best to go Gas or Gasless ?. What size (amps …

I will be looking at getting a new bike in the near future & have a few questions. 1. How often do they require a rebuild? (I ride clubman level) 2. Longivity is important to me, which brand will last as well as my TY175? (2 & a half kids & a mortage, it will have to last & be reliable). 3. Which brand will be easy to get parts for in the future? 4. Which brand is best for servicing? 5. European or Japanese engine? 6. Steel or aluminimum frame? ( Is cracking a problem with alloy frames on trials bikes?) Thanks in advance for you imput. Hope this doesn't open a pandor's box Adrian

When I was at a trial today I let a guy have a go on my bike as he was interested in getting one. He mentioned that at his next birthday he will be 80. Its one of the reasons why I like trials, is the fact that the main deciding factor is skill. I remember another guy I met a couple of years ago at a trial who I was talking to who was 78, riding a BSA C15, He was more than double my age riding a bike that was over ten years older than me, I was ridding a brand new bike and he finish on less than half my score . If I can continue till I

Looking into the weights of various bikes (250-300cc) Who makes the lightest bike? - I’ve already figured out the Mont is a bit too porky! * thinking of a light bike to hang on a Dave Cooper rack. Need to come in under 75kg (inc rack) for vertical towbar load. Cheers Boner.
