UK Trials Talk

My son has recently won 6 youth C class's at centre level in a row and won the centre championship last year. He is now in his second year as a C class rider, so asked the centre committe if he could do the B class championship to which they agreed. The first round of that championship was held on 20/2/05 and he won it by 15 points. I have since found out that the club who ran the trial have given the win and therefore the championship points to the rider who was realy second because they say my son isn't old enough. Without P***ing anyone off what the hell can i do.

I would like to say a huge thank you to the organizers and club officials of the Zona One MCC for helping me at their trial on Sunday 4th November 2007 at Hayes Coppice in Monmouth. After the first lap of 12 very rideable sections, I decided to make my way back to the car for some juice when, near section 2, I fell off my trusty Scorpa and landed awkwardly on my head which was pushed into my chest. On impact, my upper neck made a very disconcerting crunching noise and hurt a lot. Dave Hall and Steve Workman were on the scene immediately and a paramedic was called who made the decision to have me stretchered from the forest on a spinal trauma board by an emergency rescue …

Just read the Zona 1 blog site it appears they have taken over the lease for Nettleton Quarry and are turning it into a trials only practice ground !!! Good for them hope it goes well and great for all of us in the Gloucester area I for one have just down loaded my forms ! so all you riders in the area lets get behind them and support them in what must be a costly time consuming venture !!

Hi folks. I've just joined Zona1 and was hoping to go and practice on Friday morning but I need a playmate. Anybody going on Friday? I know most members organise thir time there on faecesbook but I really dont want to join FB?
