Hi, my name is Martin and I'm from Poland EU. Just started in Trials (fiew hours on bike). I'm green on motocycles but I've decided to go into Trials as it's most secure Off-road as I see it. I'm quite old for first time rider (36) but I like to become so-so rider in middle amateur weekend riding style Also my wife (30years old) is riding with me. Welcome all from Poland. We spend only 12hours on bikes but got our self 2014 Sherco and moving forward.

Hi from South Africa. I'm new to trials and have just aquired a 2007 Beta 270, and yes you guessed it, it has carb issues. It doesn't idle smoothly at all. I've done some reading up about installing a Dellorto, so please will you advise me where to go, who to speak to. I look forward to the help and advise. Cheers.

Bought a trials bike to improve my bike skills, especially enduro. Lover of all things two-stroke also. Was never allowed a bike when I was young, came into road riding as a 21yr old direct access rider, moved into off-roading in 2009. Now living in UAE, riding consists of trackdays and riding off-road. Well I am new to this forum... I have been riding bike s for a number of years, lets say 10 to be fair... I own a few bikes but TODAY i bought a 1977 t350 Bultaco. Im here cause I need some serious help identifying and finding parts and rebuild support. Help me trials central... You're my only hope!

Greetings All, I'm a Brit living in France near to Niort in the Deux Sevres (not far from La Rochelle). I've been away from biking for 25 years, as you do, and got back into this year with a BMW 1150RT and a Yamaha WR250F. I've just come back from a dirt ride adventure around Kazakhstan, which was awesome. I used to have a Fantic 200 and did some competition but wasn't any good - I once got my bike stuck high up in a tree! Lured by the name again, I bought a 1997 Fantic 250, which has turned out to be tired and used and costing to get it running properly but I am learning more about mechanics which is what I wanted. So, I am hoping for some advice and company on here…

Just purchased a 2004 GasGas 300 to hopefully learn how to ride it enough to compete. I've been racing motorcycles and quads for the past 25 years and just couldn't do it anymore. Too long of a recovery period (went from days to weeks) but still have the desire to compete and be part or a riding group/club. Looking forward to getting to chat with some of you and learning the sport of trials. Mel

awesome site, thanks for all the excellent info i've acquired already. Most of what i know about trials riding, I've picked up at the local BSA club events. I rode a little in my 20's on a slightly modified Bultaco Alpina, but gave it up when we were short of cash. I recently picked up a TY175, and a huge pile of parts that should make 1 halfway decent TY250. Whichever I'm most comfortable with will become my next vintage trials machine. By the looks of it, the trials community is gigantic in Europe. I'm a little jealous. Nevertheless, I'm pretty excited about the new bikes, and the chance to have some fun with all the other old guys.

Newbie from Inverness Scotland . Hi guys just bought my first trials bike in over 20 years . From the highlands of Scotland and picked up a 2002 sherco 250 . Needs little bit of work but what bike doesn't . Have been more into motocross but decided to re-live my youth and buy a trails bike . Used to have some when I was around 10-15 years old on my parents croft . Looking forward to advice and info from this forum . Cheers

Hi Forum Not sure what to say really. I'm from Derby but moved to Germany for a couple of year work 15 years ago. I ride Gas Gas 280, which I have to admit does scare me a little. I've only been doing trial for a couple of months and don't really have a lot of idea but I've got some good freinds who are showing me the ropes so all good I suppose.

Hi just picked up a trials bike, Just about riding again after shattering my Tib and fib racing motocross 6 months ago, thought I'd try something different away from mx, I'm a member of sidcupmotocycle club and located around the corner from Canada heights (in Kent) although seen there wobblers courses and I'm feeling there abit advanced for me at the moment. I've already been quizzing you on the scorpa page lol, If you could point me in the direction of any local practise facilities/ ground to help me find my feet, that would be great,?

Hi There, I've just got into trials and thought I'd sign up to get some help with tackling maintenance on the bikes. I've got a 2008 Beta 250 and a pal has just bought a 2009 Beta 290 Evo Mine is running sweet but he has what we think is Piston Slap, (more on this in my next post) We're from Leeds. Hey folks! I'm diving in here head first to the land of vintage dirtbikes, trials, and 2-stroke engine repair. I fell in love with the look of Spanish bikes trying to scare up moped parts locally at Hogan's Cycle Shop in Agawam, MA, and here I am a few years later, elbows deep in a complete teardown to revive a seriously seized-and-left-for-dead 1976 Alpina 250 model 165. My theory is if I do the rebuild right off the bat (not like I had a choice with this particular specimen), the internal condition will be a known quantity, I'll have something I can ride longer, and I'll be able to do repairs more easily. It's been very educational so far and I can't wait to hear it…

Greetings! A little about me.. I'm 24 years old, got into dirt riding about 2 years ago. I currently ride a 2000 ktm 300 exc which I recently upgraded from a 95 Honda XR200 which I rode for over a year. I am very much interested in learning trials type techniques and trying to adapt them to the heavy enduro bike. Can't wait to take a trip to a trials school for a couple days where I can practice on a real trials bike. Most of my friends just don't understand my fascination for slow techniques and control, and would rather be throwing roost! Anyway, looking forward to conversing with you guys! Jacob

Hello to all, New to the forum, and in need of some good advice. Father and son based in south wales. My son has swapped from motocross to trials, which is great news. And we still get to have our father and son times whether it's out and about or working on the bike. We have picked up a beta evo 125 2011, which he has been practising on. Unfortunately the previous owner has rounded nuts off. We have stirpped the front forks down, which are Paioli forks, but the top nut/ally key is completely rounded and shredded, this is bright red, not sure if it has been added as a bling bit. Hi, I'm a newbie on the site and hoping someone can help me with a maintenance issue. I will post this in the correct forum also, but felt it was only polite to introduce myself first. Now living in western Canada, but originally from the UK. Had a few trials bikes back when God was a lad. I currently have a tired old Gasgas JTX 320 ('97 I think) awaiting the installation of new fork seals. That is where the problem begins! I cannot unscrew the upper sleeve on the slider, due to either the two parts being time fused together, or simply not being able to get enough torque to break the threads. I can find no data on this particular fork on the internet. I would normal…

Hello again to all fellow riders. i unfortunately had to sell my Bultaco Sherpa due to money worries but have now sorted out a few problems and picked my self up what i think is a 1978 Montesa cota349. it has been stood for a good few years but turns over with plenty of compression. looking forward to stripping it and getting it something like ready for some fun. it does need a good few parts so any help would be greatly appreciated.
