My red MC cluch boot keeps popping out and I wonder if its meant to have a circlip or someting holding it in? Also it drips a little oil , clutch works fine atm , albeit it snatches a bit at the end of the lever travel which makes modulation on tight turns a tad more difficult so I guess its the clutch plates that must be at the end of the usable life. I tried to adjust the clutch free play today and noticed that it if i wind the piston winder in and disengage the clutch it makes a mecanical clatter! I did not ride it like that just wound it back out and got used to te on/off clutch. Any words of wisdom out there ?

Good evening, got my 2008 rec 3 250 engine out for rebuilding, iv noticed the two crank case half are a difrent colour to each other ones a dull grey and the other is a darker but more shiny grey, not sure if the one half has been replaced in the past but my hope is not as the cases are macheaned together as a pair. Hi All, I treated myself to a new Sincro but am gutted that the last point of clutch lever travel before full engagement is a light-switch effect that makes the bike jump forward - seriously annoying where you need to stay precisely on line in a tight turn. I have tried all three built in pre-sets on the diaphram clutch, but to no avail; the lever is not heavy on the fingers but the bite is too sudden to control with clutch slip I would normally use on almost any other bike. The bike has only done three hours on the original Liquid Moly oil. My old Evo wasn't like this. Please, any ideas at all? Otherwise I'll have to sell it and go back to either TRS…

Hi all, Looking for a bit of info the shock and serviceability of it. I have an Evo Factory from 2017 (250). Its not had anything done to the shock in a while. How serviceable are these units? Maybe I am remembering wrongly but I seem to remember reading once upon a time that they are not very serviceable. I know a lot say its not worth upgrading the standard shock if you're not a top flight rider but what would you recommend - investing in a full service or replacing with something aftermarket? For reference, I am far from top flight - definite Sunday wobbler. Thanks all.

Hi, i've just recently bought a second hand Beta minitrial 20, electric Beta, for my daughter, to play around in the garden, and see if she likes it or not. Bought the bike second hand, so it has a little work to it. Chain and sprockets are worn out. Now, i do not seem to find a sprocket set for a reasonable price for this bike, also, it has a very narrow chain. I've seen a conversion on youtube were they use an Oset chain kit for this bike, but it seems like there a lot less teeth to the sprocket doing that conversion, so the bike will run a lot quicker, and loose a lot off torque. I've seen bigger Oset sprocket aswell, but how do i know wich one to order? I would like t…

Good afternoon all, in new to the forum so I hope I'm putting this in the right place. I've recently acquired a beta rev 3 2000 model that had a few issues. The wiring on the bike had been chopped and changed and generally a right mess, so I have stripped the old wiring and have now attempted to put it all back together. My stator has a loom attached to the CDI, 2 come out of the CDI onto the coil. The remaining 2 wires from my stator are yellow (plugs into the reg/rec) and black (presume this just wires to my kill switch? Coming from my reg/rec I have 4 wires... I would like to wire in my fan/thermostat. However I'm not quite sure how to do this, or sure what else needs …

Hi, Delighted with my new 250 Sincro but the factory website says there are three variables for the clutch spring tension but no info on how to change them. Has anybody tried it out yet before I take the clutch cover off? Thanks in advance!

Hello, Has anyone installed a Tech TS4 rear suspension on their bike? I'd like to install one, but it seems there's not enough space between the swingarm and the shock. The original is 58mm, the tech is 78mm. I ride a Beta Evo 300 4T - 2020 model. I can also test/buy a TRP. If this is a better option, please let me know. greathings, Luc

Hi all, Stripped my Evo 300 factory 2012 down for what I thought was a top end rattle, however found I have a lot of play in the big end on the Conrod. Struggling to find a Conrod kit for the bike, does any one know if there are alternatives (i.e pro x kit that fits the beta 300rr enduro) or similar. New Conrod from Beta is £190, am I correct in assuming the crankpin won't be worn, only the Conrod? Many thanks

Hi all hope some one can help here, my bike has a ngk bp7es fitted but the manual sais to use a br7es plug. I emailed beta uk and they said to use a bp5es or the 7. Said the R ristore is for if your running lights which I can assume the ignition is abit noisy with emf I beleave. The bp7es is a long reach plug where as the br7es is not. I would think the long reach is not correct.

Just airing this to see what you think , ran a Compression Test on my Techno 97 and got nigh on 170 PSI , whan I had the exhaust off I took a look at the piston and it looked worn and scored but this bike seems to have a lot of compression whn kicking it over and seems to pull very very well low down. Tried a 2014 Evo 250 and only go 110 PSI well it was more like 106 but I rounded up, is this right? I know it all depends on the life that the engine has had but I would have expected it to be the other way round with more compression from the Evo, the Evo does sound a little slappy like th little end is starting to knock so its goinf to have the head…

Carb keeps overflowing when it sbeen standing for a while, weeks rather then days. I,ve tapped the float bowl with a piece of wood to help free up the float if its snagged in the carb but genrally makes no difffernce. After a bit of warming up as she starts really easy , it seems to stop overflowing but I could be wrong as it could be collecting oin the bash plate area. Any tips on curing this , what is the proper float height ? I've cleaned the needle valve and it appears to be sealing ok when the carb is off for testing. I need to fit a wrist lanyard as I think all trials call for these now , do you have to butcher the electrics to fit these as I would prefe…

Hi, have quite a loud whining noise that comes and goes with clutch engagement. When its disengaged there's no noise at all. Had the clutch apart and all seems fine, did wonder if it was the basket bearing but there's no play. Haven't changed oil type (nano trans) but has fresh oil. Any suggestions welcomed. While im here does anybody have any tips for putting the clutch cover o ring in place? Has literally just taken me longer to put the cover back on than take the clutch to bits, inspect it, clean it and reassemble it! Edit: 2012 250 2t
