😎 Almost completed setup and loop marking for the July 20th & 21st. 8 sections per day and three or four loops to be determined by the weather, pre-registration is greatly appreciated. I'll post the official flyer here soon I hope.

The dates have been announced for the 2010 WEC Canadian National Trials Championship. Rounds 1&2 at Shawnigan Lake. British Columbia. May 22/23 Rounds 3&4 in Quebec - July 31/Aug 1st.

Just like to wish Trials riders everywhere a very Happy New Year As I grew up near Oswestry, I keep a close tab on what happens in UK Trials, and especially "The Tough One" held at Nantmawr. which was one of our old Trials practice spots in my day. We are happy and fortunate to have Steve Foord and Jake Cook living in Western Canada as of early this year - Steve is from the London area, and Jake from Yorkshire - they have both excelled with Foordy winning the Canadian WEC Championship and Jake the Alberta ATRA Championship.

The stage is pretty much set for this coming weekends big event at Scotch Creek, British Columbia. - A last minute change of venue, has meant a whole new course layout, in a totally different area, high above the beautiful Shuswap Lake. - but with the help of the local Trials riders, we are now looking forward to once again hosting a memorable National, followed by the Vintage Outaw Trial on the Holiday Monday. Excellent trial!, excellent venue!, excellent weather! very well laid out sections on a nice loop. I rode the D line and that was testing enough for me. Even the traffic cooperated better than expected on the trip home. Well done Dave and the organizers, a very nice day out!

The third and final round of the WTC Sanctioned Outlaw Series will take place this weekend at Baseline, near Rocky Mountain House Alberta. -. Vintage Saturday, Modern Sunday. - Directions on the ATRA website.

Trials Training at Miller Meadow with 2011 Canadian Champion and 5 times Trials Des Nations rider Jonathan English! I realize that all the events I have done so far have been free but I can't cover the expense of this one on my own so there will be a $50 fee for the 2 day course. There is a $25 discount for anyone who helped out at the outdoor show. There is a 20 rider limit on this event so we can really focus on the training. Saturday will be formal training starting with the basics and helping people get their bikes setup (if needed) we will then move into turns, hopping, small obstacles, reading sections, riding sections, and then a bit of the extreme stuff - just …

Well my trip to the SSDT lived up to and surpassed all expectations. It has been a long time bucket list item and so glad I was able to make it happen this year... Already thinking about going again.

Hi All, I have moved the June 1st event to June 16th to accommodate some of the riders (away for USGP Trial). I have a new job which is great news for my family but not so good for my Trials time. I would still like to try and do the event at the farm June 16th but to pull it off I will need help on the weekend before and on the 15th. My hope is to use the same area as the event last fall (on the slope to the river) but build at least 3 new sections that are easier (or at least possible). Cheers, Michael T.
