Thanks mate , i seemed to think it would be some weird alloy, il probaly buy a new one and carry it around in my tool box until this one breaks. And how i broke it, it fell off the back of a builders truck while being ridden up to be transported and it landed hard on the kickstart side on the conrrete

Hi Does anyone know What the kickstart made out of? on the rev 3 as i have adamadged it around the bit that atatches the lever to the shaft (aparently happens alot on betas (when you drop them on ther kickstart hard) )it works but it could do with welding or something as it is gradualy cooming a bit more loose. Thanks

Engine breaking or rear break or both? So when going down hills difrent pepole have told me to difrent things, ok so you use the front break, but some pepole have told me to use the rear break which i normaly use (ends up with me coverd in mud ocasionly ) but some pepole say they use engine breaking. So which one do you use? and which one is best? Thanks

Thanks, do you have a diagram or know the order of how the washers and spacers go, as im thinking about buying one which has the problem of the circlip on the shaft falling off aparently due to a wrong sized washer some were on the shaft, when the circlip falls off the primary gear disengadges stoping the kick start to work.

Hi I was wondering if i could get some help from you guys At colledge our class is curently trying to beat the indoor land speed record on a CBR900R 1993. We have to do up the bike to go as fast as possible in 160ft inside a building, in this 160ft we will have to accelarete reach as high speed as possible and then come to a complete stop(hopefuly not making any holes through the brick work). The problems are that we do not have any money to spend on this unless we scrape a little bit together or borrow some parts, also that all modifications to the bike can be removed after and for the bike to be returned to its standard fourm. Does any body have any ideas what we could do to the bike to make it complete this challenge? Any ideas or sudgestions would be greatly apreciated. Thanks Student Bikers Speed Attempt L2

Thanks Would you say that its a slow controlled gearing? as its for my sister and she will only be doing beginer sections at our local club which tend to stay on the flat with the ocasional small hill with tight corners

Ok so i have a 2007 250 Rev3 and im not sure what spark plug to put in it as when i brought it had the wrong one in, so i have looked on the beta website and it says to use the BP5ES also i have looked on the NGK website and they say to use the BR7ES also i have looked on ebay and the ones that are sold as beta rev3 250 07 are BP7ES so at the minute im not quite sure which one to get as Beta tell me one thing and ngk tell me another, im edgeing towards the beta one but i read on the fourm that some pepole are using the BR7ES in there rev3's (not beta recomended) so which one should i go for? Thanks

Normaly you can get at the electrics if you remove the oposite vent to wear you top up the coolant found this on many rev3s
