  1. Its more to see anyones past expierience, insurance without a full licence on a competition bike, gettin stick for L plates etc etc...
  2. Being as uninterested in road bikes as I am, I have never passed my bike licence. This has led me to the way of thinking of a 125 on a provisional with a cbt. Has anyone got expierience of doing this. My intention is only short trips to practice ground but I wish to be legal. I currently ride a montesa 250 and am looking at the scorpa. Not seen any road registered?
  3. I know its not the same but have a look at this, i have no problem with a special as tastefully done as this.
  4. A huge thanks for sharing this one, it is truly an inspiring project. especially as my brother has an swm in a far better starting condition. Well done.
  5. A warm welcome to the sport. I myself ride a 315r and would suggest it is a good starting point. Having an engine based on a cr250 it is not going to be too difficult to get your head round. Being a Honda it is among the most reliable but not your only option. No mater what you decide on plenty of people will love it and some hate it. In your price band a gas gas or worse a beta would have to be carefully inspected and preferably come from a club member where you will ride. I think this is the best way to be looking at bikes.if you can find on a scorpa 200 four stroke is also worthy of consideration
  6. i'd like to take that further 1 transit write off cut at bulk head weld on large flat plate, 2 weld angle iron supports for hitch, 3 fill holes with expansion foam and paint with gloss emulsion on a roller, 4 wire lights to socket, Done...
  7. I am lazy and fat, I never clean my 315r! Can anyone advise if the extra few grams of gloop is increasing the un-sprung weight of my wheels causing me bad results. Would it be worth running bald tyres to combat this?
  8. Best news I've heard in years
  9. when I was a boy my father fitted plastic levers to my TY 175 due to constant breaking levers, now I'm older I run with cut down ones only big enough for a single finger. They suit me fine and don't have the childhood lever brakes. Not sure about rules on no bulb ends but cos I ain't no hand model it works for me. Do you guys that use two or more fingers suffer from weak hands on a long trial?
  10. What is it you want from an app, as my imagination is limited i have difficulty imagining how technology could be of assistance?
  11. Please be carefully when buying and ride first, an evo is nothing less than an animal in compassion to your current bike
