September 17, 201015 yr I took my GG Pro engine out for service and it weighed 40lbs (18.143kg). Does anybody know the dry weights of Sherco, Beta, Scorpa, Montesa engines?

September 17, 201015 yr All you need to know is all the others are heavier then a GasGas. Now go put it back together and just ride it !
September 17, 201015 yr Hi Guys I changed the oil in my 300 Raga the other day. 450mls came out and it weighed 469.223 Grams. I measured 450mls of the same oil to put back in and this weighed 469.445 Grams. Has enybody else weighed other oils. I'm thinking if there are lighter oils out there i can use, it will help me in my weight reduction.
September 17, 201015 yr It's a perfectly reasonable question though I would expect the Gasser to be lightest. It is a weight obsessed sport after all.

September 17, 201015 yr All seriousness, i put bets on the Mont being the heaviest! Mmmm im thinking Ariel 500cc might be heavier. Personally i Buzz cut my hair to a grade 1# thus significantly reducing my overall competeing weight.

September 17, 201015 yr Okay here is me findings, Montesa heavy, Beta less heavy, Sherco even less heavy, GasGas less weight of all as usually in bits requiring a rebuild Oil i find that Olive Oil light to be the lightest of all oils and low in saturated fats, thus reducing the onset of obesity.
