What would be involved in converting a road version tiger cub ready for trials? Is it cheaper to buy a road tiger cub and convert in to trials trim - or just buy one already modified off a well known internet auction site?

where is the clutch adjustment inspection cover? do i pull the gear lever off and then pull the whole left hand side casing off? It has worked in the past. when pulling the clutch it was a realy stiff so i put a new cable on since then the problem began. Have i pulled the arm up too much?!

Clutch not working on Fantic 240. I can move the clutch arm up and down freely with hardly any resistance? All gears seem to select properly. when you put it in gear it wheelies off so the clutch aint slipping!! its just when moving the clutch arm up all the way nothing happens - bike wont stop!.

Problem solved. checked timing, cleaned carb, new plug, new (thick) base gasket, new head gasket - now runs like a dream!!

when revs are dying down almost back to idle there is a knock/pop (metal to metal sound) coming from the head. Sounds as if the piston is hitting the head?! taken it all apart. Piston/Rings seem fine. No play in big end bearing. Slight play with small end bearing when you move it side to side but thats normal so im told. checled carb/exhaust all seem ok. When you rev, its revs up fine. Poping/knocking only hapens when revs dying down. i run 75ml castrol tts per 5 litres unleaded. Help.

Where does the ONE wire from the centre of the 'rubber' kill switches go? Live(red) or Green(trigger) Is there no earth on these kill switches? thanks

Are you allowed to use tubeless rear rim/tyre in twinshock events? ive looked on the ACU handbook but cant see anything in there. Is it worth the money/effort to respoke the rear to run a tubeless rim/tyre?

ive got some engine ice.. Not sure what coolant was in there before i bought the bike. shall i just top up with engine ice or flush the whole system. If so how do i drain the coolant and will i need to bleed the system? thanks guys

is there an alternative to an alloy WES silencer that will fit a 125/200 trial. Could another tail pipe from another make/model be made to fit?

Bolt had snapped but managed to weld a nut onto it to get it out.. Any idea if any other bolts/studs will fit off another bike? think its an 8mm thread bike is a fantic 125/200 cheers

cheers for the info - took the clutch off, the clutch plates were binded together because its been idle. seperated then all clutch now working fine.

took clutch cover off. clutch plates seem to be moving freely when pulling clutch the lever.

fantic 125/200. back kick minarelli engine If the bike is in gear and push the bike foward (engine not running) when i pull the clutch in it doesnt free wheel.. any idea what the problem is? cheers
