  1. scot you can still buy the original steel clutch plates like these i have spare. new
  2. scot what clutch plates are you using? i got these for my 199B
  3. the S/Arm has grease nipples i use bearing grease that has a good wash out resistance. also i will have a bunch off parts zinc plated and titanium Engine bolts.
  4. scot Lary just just as i thought the Rear Engine mount should be tight once the Axle as been torqued down.

  8. saw miller got the new piston for my build a while back will get the tank and seat.
  9. or dunk them in some hot water to make the rubber softer so it will strech.
  10. Did you cut a small bit off the ends off the leaver covers? they can be hard to get on those i use WD40 to lub but.

Hello Graham that is correct the 199B does not have a rubber flap on the Air box my 199B has another half off mudguard shaped to the Air box then bolted together on the bracket and a small bolt on the bottom throw the eye on the rear Engine mount. that tube you talk about i had a 199b with it on the Air box i may do the same with mine.

  13. Hello Larry my 199B Air box is a new fiber glass 1 does have a indention where to drill a hole but i never bothered.
  14. just had a bracket made to stop the water going into the Air box on my 199B

Hello scot yeah cheers sadly i sold it the next 1 will be just as good i also have a straight 199 side stand if i go with the 198B S/Arm i will use the original 199b side stand i have or have 1 made the same as i have on my 199B much lighter i was going to sell the Alloy side stand but turned out better than i thought so glad i kept it. cheers bondy.
  16. cleaned the 199b side stand got the brown glue off. also few options on the S/Arm for my next build. also the 198A frame and S/Arm are in the paint shop so not sure may use the 198B S/Arm

  19. Hello iv'e been looking at converting my front wheel to dic brake am only thinking about it at this stage just wanted your thoughts on it. if i do it i can easy change it back to standard hear have a look at this. also i may put 199B S/Arm on the 198A frame.

Hello scot yes ill keep you all updated with the bike as it comes along. the bash plate is from spain a place called todotrials look it up. i think there around 67 euros iv'e had a few on my bikes but the bike am building as a standard bash plate. cheers bondy, Larry good idea on the ignition gizmo i just sealed my 199B 1 with silicon. but on the next bike it will have electric ignition single thin wire so i will use some tubing to protect it. nice job scot on the steering stops i did my own on last bike had to make them abit longer as the fork tubes was catching the nice new ally tank about 2m
