  1. 1 wire if you use the original bultaco kill button earth is on the metal bracket that clamps round the bars singal wire gose to coil.
  2. oh yes the port holes need to be put in as Larry says sory forgot to mention that. the guy that did mine had a special template to drill the port holes in my persang piston witch are perfect.
  3. Sorry I didn't do the work on the piston am sure some 1 will know. I will check the new 325 skirt as this is a spare piston still in the original box.
  4. i have bought about 5 MAHLE pistons over the last 2 years i can get them but they are persang pistons need to cut the rear skirt shorter my 340 as a brand new 1 in i do have an original MAHLE piston for a 199A but theres nothing wrong with the After Market pistons ive had them and there good. This is a new piston in a 199b I just rebuilt for some 1

    hello anybody know if there should be a spring on the rear brake pedle? the pedle comes back slow. am not sure if the chain tensioner is the correct 1 i will upload a photo it has a big rubber wheel with a spring hooked on a pivot there is somthing missing on the other end off the chain tensionor cheers bondy.
  7. Larry this is 1 off my next projects. Model 198A made to look like the model 198 with a difference it won't have the rail under the Engine but will have the early 198 ignition case.
  8. Wow Larry that's seen better days why can't it be restored? hears 1 i just done for some 1 Larry how come you didn't buy it may be the Engine at least could off been saved.

    Hello Larry yes that is a brand new L/H rear brake peddle. i also had the brake plate cam sleeved and hub relined. now to the fule was woundering when some 1 would Ask about the decals not bubbling its because on this particular bike i use a fuel with no ethanol in it and can be leaft in the tank up to 5 years its not cheap but i only use it when the bike is in storage to keep it running that way i dontbneed to keep draining the tank. thought that wouldnt be a problem in your partboff the world didnt think your fuel had ethanol in it? bondy.

    199A with bigger Air box. It now has the side decals on to match the tank also the decals on the plastic tank don't bubble off.

    Hello Scot taco your brake peddle is looking good I need to mod my L/H rear brake peddle its the Alloy 1 cheers bond.
  17. Plastic Kota is the best by fare get the B/Q stuff nice finish not Mat or gloss it leaves a sheen on it looks factory fresh. Just done 3 Exhausts in it.

    hello all i have now got my ossa TR77 nice bike and runs well however there is some things need doing like new sprocket chain. iv'e also bought a new Airfilter as the 1 that was in had seen better days. and i bought a new Exhaust gasket because i took it off to paint it and there is a few bits need patching up on the Exhaust as its blowing i have repacked the rear. am debating weather to buy a new Exhaust butvthis 1 is not in bad shape. but if i was to buy a Exhaust is the rear Wes ok. it needs new rear shocks what is the standard size? i was addviced to get the 360mm? thats about it really dare say ill need somthing else its a nice tidy bike just needs a little TLC oh need new seat foam and cover the old foam had had it the base is good the old cover is pretty good just a bit missing on the Conner but ill buy new.   19. hello guys sory to but in i also am new to ossa and have just bought same model ossa TR77 runs well just needs a few jobs doing to it. iv'e noticed a very small drip off oil comming from the gear leaver i gess there's a oil seal? if so does the case need to be taken off to replace it? cheers guys sory to but in on your topic hope you get the Engine sorted bond.

    no need to pack the rear club foot only the middel section get repacked. Bike looking good scot.
  21. As above you need the headsteady. Also i have same bike with electric ignition easy tofit and just for get about it saves all the messing about with points mine was stood for 8 months fresh fuel started straight away no trouble. some like them some don't mine runs great on 1 would recommend buying 1 p.s if you plane on riding a plastic tank would be better be ashame to ruin the Alloy tank if you come off.

  23. Nice bike i notice it looks like you have no headsteady on the cylinder head?

    Not yet trialsrfun going looking at it this next week i have seen it i did see it being riden looks and sounds good but ill have to check it over is the a cylinder head steady on these? Just want to know what to look for i gess it's only like any other bike but just wanted to be sure. It's not to bad nice tidy bike.
