05 model ( one of the first ones sold in the US ) and yes I am having a problem , my original tyres are starting to wear! Seriously, no problems what so ever. I replaced the kick start return plate bolt as instructed by Montesa , and do the required maintenance , starts first kick most every time. I think I'll keep riding it till Montesa can make another one as good as this one! Thanks

Here in the USA we still see the Aprilias from time to time, We have a club member that still competes on a 93 model regularly. I will keep my 94 model , might be the top "vintage bike" one day Keep em coming

Im using Honda HP 80 /85W and the clutch works fine, but Im having trouble finding neutral. Should I try the Silkolene? Thanks

using 87 pump at the moment, no knocks,have not noticed any drop in performance. Always starts 1st kick,runs perfect hot or cold.

Had a 1st year Mont.'97. Changed oil and kept the air filter clean,never had a problem. Traded in on a cota 4RT. Yea they bullet proof

The Cota4RT starts very easily... have her give it a go.

Mine usually starts up first kick.............the only problem I have, is getting all the bugs out of my teeth after a ride
