Yes that is what everyone says about him.In fact when we go to NETA they always want him to fill out that minor form.Yes he has ridden with all those people.We met Libor at Hunter years ago when he first came to this country they had a bike trial there.As for Louise he has ridden with her many times.Neta had that champ line years ago Cody and Mike Komer rode it then.They thought Cody might not be able to handle it but he showed he was capable.JR

Drhud,Thanks for the good reply.Yes I was a bit disapointed in the level of the sections,but with the short time everything had to be put together Bobby did what he could do.Normaly I would have got down to help but with my injury was not possible.Most years we ride all over the northeast including a few NETA events,Galway being one of the places.Pete does a good job up there and I had planned on riding both days to end my season but Dr says not a good idea.As for Cody he would like to be there but not sure of his work and family thing.His wife is about due to have baby in couple of weeks so he has a lot on his plate.And you are right he has always gotten bored with easier sections he likes the bigger and steeper stuff.Plus with doing the nationals in the expert line this summer it is hard to come up with stuff to keep his interest up.He started riding when he was 6 years old,so I think he might need a bit of a break.Which sometimes is not a bad thing.So you may see us sunday or just me as a spectater very tired of staying home.I get very jealus of watching people ride when I so want to be also.But I have next year to look forward to.See you in the woods.JR

Hey Biff,Good to here from you.Turns out Iwill not be able to ride any more this year.Fell at work tuesday and got a small fracture in the side of my head,just got out the hospital yeaterday.sure put the scare in me Dr. says to stay off bike for a while.Can not work or drive for 2 weeks,crappy way to get off work.Iam going out to Komers tomurrow to watch and take Cody's bike out. Drhud,You have to have AMA membership for this event you can get this at sign up,entry fee is $10 club members and $15 or $20 for non member.Where are you located? Just A reminder 3D Trials club next event october 5,2008 at Hunter Mtn,N.Y.This is a brand new site for us and is truly a world class venue.If you have never been to this area it is very nice.They have held many world class events here.From world cup mountain biking to ski and snowboard events.Terrain is very poen and lots of big gripppy rocks and many boulder feilds.There is a Octoberfest going on the same day plus there will a BMW demo of there motogp bikes you can try up one of the ski slopes.They also have the chair loft open for site seeing and for the crazy down hill mountain bikers.Lots of good motels and resterants in the area.Hunter Mtn, web site www.huntermtn.com Hope to see a good turn out to be a great place for our club.JR

Another 3D yearly picnic and weekend ride went well.Saturday bicycle trials was fun along with the special ballon race test for motorbikes.Good food and a pretty decent turnout of people for both days.Rick had some real fun sections even after the morning gully washer went thru dropping a couple of inches of rain.The puppet show around the campfire saturday nite was priceless.Rick will have the pictures up on the web site soon.See you in the woods,JR

Brian,Dan was up a couple of weeks ago and rode in one of our club events.It was funny because there where five of us riding the intermediate line .And I think we all where over 50yrs of age or close.But we had a great time riding until the rain came,thats another story.JR

Just a quick reminder 3D trials club annual picnic and ride.Saturday and sunday August 9&10 Oneonta,N.Y..There wiill be a bicycle trials saturday afternoon,followed by some kind of motorcycle special test.This is usually some kind of timed race and break the balloon at the end to stop the clock always a lot of fun.There will be lots of food,entertainment and the pool will be open.So come on out and have a good time!!!Hope to see all are club members for this one.JR

Looking for some help.It is time to change the oil in my new sy with the aluminum marzoochi forks.Does anyone know the measurments for the oil height in each tube.The cd that comes with bike does not give any imfo on oil change to forks.Thanks in Advance JR

You can get a refund for any reason,just has to be filed a certain amount of days before event is held .I think that is how its done.JR

Just to remind everyone 3D club event this coming weekend at Thunder Ridge MX park,in South Edmeston,NY.I have been busy setting up 9 sections to challenge all class levels.Pits are all mowed so come on out and camp and make a weekend of it.Lets hope the weather is good and we have a good turnout.JR

I see this is a UK topic,but we have the same thing over here in the USA.It is hard to figure out our number of riders is down this year also.Part being the fuel costs and most of our club is getting older.But as you say there are at least 20 riders from the area that just play ride.Seems they have no interest in competing.One of the problems we have is that it is sometimes tough to set a easy route for the beginners and still have it hard enough for everyone else.I like to compete to see if I am improving at all.Plus there is something about a marked section compared to just messing around.Later JR

Event went well considering the amount of rain received the nite before.Sections where tough but remained mostly rideable.Attendance could have been better! Hey Biff your dad might have struggled a bit but it was good practice for him,Just glad he made it out.Do not think your landlord was there but not sure. Hope you have better luck Breaking your new scorpa then I did.Was at the Colarado national riding with my son,first loop saturday guy loses control of his bike on loop trail and hits my parked bike breaking gas tank and denting muffler.The bike had three rides on it before that,so now waiting for new tank and trying to figure out how to get dents out of muffler.I just wanted to have a nice trail ride in the desert for three days.So keep a eye out for a out of control Texan on a 4 stroke Montesa!!!!Good Luck JR
