  1. Right folks - Mark has opened up an official forum on www.ssdt.org to collect your comments for next year. Hows about jumping over there for two minutes and giving him your feedback so that we can make some changes for next year? We know the gripes that people have had this year, so we're not looking for individual stories as such, but we do want to hear about your ideas for improving things. As has been pointed out in previous chats both here and elsewhere, there are a lot of comments made unofficially, but very few passed back to the committee, so this is your chance to make a difference! Don't be shy....
  2. Kicking them out is no problem - it's getting their plate back and stopping them riding out alongside the rest of the trial that's the trouble....
  3. Initiative, yes. Inclination, no.
  4. Once all the riders registered the final count was : 79 Beta 64 Sherco 63 Gas Gas 49 Montesa 15 Scorpa 07 Yamaha 01 Aprilia 01 Bultaco 01 Fantic
  5. Well, I don't know about you lot, but that was one hell of a week! I'm still doing a more-than-acceptable impression of the Walking Dead, but hey - it was worth it! K - don't worry about the partying thing. We know that you and Perce are first-timers and will take a couple years to get into the SSDT lifestyle. And, unlike some who are NOT first-timers and shall remain nameless, at least you made it to the bar on Saturday night instead of heading off to your bed! Seriously though, it was grand to meet all of you, and I think my achievement of the week is no longer being scared of Perce, who is now officially The Smiliest Person At The SSDT! Roll on the TC Trial, where I feel it is only fair to point out, NO excuses will be accepted...

'Ello all! Rotten day in the Fort today, and at 9.15pm, there's STILL riders coming off the hill! All the books from the Laggan Locks sections are still to come in, so there won't be any results much before 11pm, if that. Sorry folks!
  7. I got mine, and t'is lovely!

I have TY175 with a Whitehawk frame which was converted to a 200cc years ago. Have been trying to find info on Whitehawk for the last few months, but am really struggling - doesn't seem to be much out there.
  9. Well if nobody else is going to get them, I'll have one!
  10. Update for you - there are quite a few people that have had to pull out for one reason or another. So far ten riders have been given places from the reserve list, and like Ishy says, the likelihood is that there will be quite a few more. Shame for the guys that are missing out, but at least it gives everyone on the reserve list some hope...
  11. The link that was causing problems for a few users on the www.ssdt.org site earlier has now been replaced, so should be available to all Microsoft Explorer versions now. Any more problems, email ssdtoffice@ssdt.org so that we can get it fixed!
  12. Are you going for the whole TC t-shirts, etc idea?! And if so, I take it you're putting in a personal appearance?
  13. The rider list will be on the SSDT website over the weekend - hopefully early tomorrow.
