  1. I cut down a set of old Renthals! fabbed a mount & foot, welded it all up & Roberts your Fathers brother. I can take some better pics if needed.
  2. Woody your a legend! and I will be picking your brain in the future, I am a proud owner of a model 199 it has been sat in a shed for the last 26 years and is clean as! will post photos soon.
  3. Hi all, I'm brand new here so be gentle! As title says i'm looking at a bike tomorrow a 1978 Sherpa t 350. My question is there any model specific problems I should be looking for, Bearing in mind i'm not completely green I have been around bikes my entire life, I currently ride a 2012 Beta Evo 300 4t and race a Husqvarna SM530RR. In the past Ive had a go at pretty much everything from MotoX, Enduro, Road Racing, Grass Tracking even a bit of Minimoto!
  4. Had to laugh at the one and only comment by HeadShot-Hunter ' So fake'
  5. Getting there boss! practice, practice and a bit more practice. slow wheelies will come just have to be brave and lift the front a bit more so your balancing on the back wheel rather than using the throttle, then use the brake to control your speed. maybe sounds counter productive but I find by sitting further forward I can generate more leverage over the back wheel and feel the bike rotate round a bit easier
  6. And if your feeling really brave its stupid easy with no weight at the front
  7. Looking at your photo a*** forward 2-3" more height on front wheel and lots of back brake
  8. Could some kind soul please post up the bearing numbers for the linkage and swingarm on the Evo, Just priced them up on Lampkins site and to be honest I let out a little bit of poo!!! I can machine the top hats myself & source the seals.
  9. I have just fitted the bosi pipe to my 300 4T and am looking for suggestions for jetting, The needle has been raised all the way, 3 1/2 turns out on mixture Bike runs sweet through the rev range with no hesitation. But it's running very rich will run for maybe 5 hours before fouling plug then will puff black smoke and flames on overrun after high revs. If I replace the plug the problems solved for another 4/5 hours, I'm confident I've no air leaks and ecu is good as I ran standard pipe today with no issues at all. currently running 27.5 pilot, 120 main if I lower the needle I introduce a flat spot about half throttle.
  10. 2nd hand helmet! Liner ripped Out! How much is you head worth? Buy a new helmet!!!
