  1. Looks horrible! Must've been fun though. Wouldn't want to be spectating on a day like that though.
  2. Just trying to work out how to embed videos on this forum and can't seem to find a help topic to do so. Any help greatly appreciated.
  3. Either way the kid is talented. Spain sure is producing the best of the best in motorcycle sport at the moment, dominating trials and MotoGP. I wish we had the same programs here in Aus to develop some more great riders.
  4. That chesty mount makes your arms look hilarious!! They really look way too long and rubbery, almost like you are MR Fantastic from Fantastic Four. Must say on a serious note though that the single trail you are riding on would make some of my friends drool heavily. Great tracks, thanks for posting.
  5. Some great vids, thanks for the info guys. They certainly do look suspiciously like the Scorpa 4t's, that's for sure. It was no secret Scorpa were using the Yamaha WR250F motor, so it sorta makes sense. That long motor sits odd in the chassis though, makes the tank look very high, as it did on the Scorpas. The backflip was a great bit of showboating, and was cool!
  6. I was recently browsing all the results from the 2013 WTC and happened across the Manufacturer's table. I noticed that Yamaha finished the season with points. Honda did too but this could be due to there being a rider on a Honda branded Montesa so is understandable, but can anyone shed light on how Yamaha have managed to earn points? Taken from the FIM website: http://www.fim-live.com/en/sport/trial/classifications/ I would love to see what bike has awarded Yamaha points. Cheers
  7. As long as you centre the spherical bearing, it will be fine to run a single bearing in place of the needle roller. We often replace the needle rollers with spherical bearings in bikes at work and they are rarely the same diameter as the needles. They always come up fine.
  8. Both snail cams on either side of the swingarm need to be adjusted equally too. This enures your wheel remains straight. I would work on around 35mm of freeplay in the chain (auto tensioner removed).
  9. Interested to see how this came up in the end, any more pictures?
  10. All you need to do is ride the bike and enjoy yourself. I am in a similar boat to you mate. Rode trials as a kid and have ridden road bikes and dirt bikes for the last 15 years. Stepped back on the Scorpa the other day and really felt like a noob. Keep doing it and all will work out well.
  11. Yep, has inspired me for my backyard! It shows how much you can practice in a confined space.
  12. What a couple of great videos, and the kid CAN ride. Thanks for posting. We do have some up coming talent here in Aus.
  13. Thats friggin awesome, and committment to your sport! Great videos.
  14. It is definitely leaning out when the choke is closed. You may have a blockage in the idle or pilot circuits in the carby. You need to pull it out and strip and clean it as previously suggested. Including blowing all the galleries out to ensure they are clear of any fouling.
  15. No fires where I am mate, hope your brother doesn't lose his house. It's a funny old country this one. Thanks for the welcome.
  16. Contact The Hell Team here in Australia. I recently spoke to Paul and he told me they have plenty in stock. He was a gem to deal with too.
  17. Just a quick intro, I am from Australia, and rode trials as a kid. My dad rode trials growing up in England, and introduced me to it in Aus when I was 10. I stopped at 15 and 20 years later I am back, having just bought a 2008 Scorpa SY250R for myself. Have already found some useful info on here and look forward to keeping an eye on what happens in the countries where trials riding actually exists!! Cactus Jack.
