Does anyone know how much the stator is for a rev 3 250cc 2003 model. you'll probably sick of this topic but can't find them any where on the net where is the best place to buy them, and cheastest of course. Is it worth getting it repaired??????????????????????????????????????????????

i was out on my bike at the week end, stopped for a drink left bike ticking over, all of a sudden it jumped into gear and hit the side of my van any help would be welcome. Bike has been tricky to find neutral while running but ok when not started.

Does anyone know of a rack that can be used with swan neck tow bars. Just been getting a new work van, when i was delivered it had a swan type towbar.

Does anyone know if these games came be sent to a mobile.

250 is a champion N7YCC think its probably the same. Some recommend a N5YCC think it burns slightly hotter.

Look on ebay there is service manuels for sale all the time.

anyone got any tips on removing flywheel nut. flywheel keeps turning.

Can anyone give an guideance on resealing front forks on a beta rev 3 250cc 2003. I have a bit of hyraulic experience from working with forklifts, are they as simple as they look or is there anything i need to know.

you'll find the parts lists for both bikes here. Try comparing the part numbers. I'm not sure if they change them for each bike. But if the are the same its a good indication. www.beta.id.au/home.html Wilsoff

I fitted the 35 pilot jet but bike is still the same, poor starting when cold but ok warm. The bike still performs well, any other ideas anyone. Wilsoff

Stripped out carb it has a 150 jet and what looks like 2.5 jet is this the problem all the above are 30 or above.

Thanks for your help i'll strip the carb out again and check what jets are in at the minute. I'm the uk will that make a difference. Were is the best place to buy the jets or are they available at most beta dealers.

I recently set up my carb on my rev 3 250 2001,as explained by Billy T found on a previous post. since setting up i'm having trouble starting when cold. Have i over adjusted or under adjusted, or done something else wrong. Also is there a preset setting for the screw to the left of the idle screw. Any help would be greatly appreciated. (the carb has been cleaned and new air filter fitted the fault only been on since i adjusted)
