1 anybody got a pic of the wiring on the resistor? my white wires come of! 2 this is my connector box pic anybody got a better one(pic)? ..not much like the wiring diags ive got.. interested in the brown and white wire

your were right steve the crank is about 3mm to the ign side I tapped it with a hammer but no movement , i do have a sledge hammer but...

the seals are on oj, now looking for a hammer s 75

so the crankcases seemed to go together smoothlyl but now the crank dosent revolve readily (it was alright with with the ign side only) Is there anything i can try before re-separattion? cheers steve

thought mod 99 was full 350 but nut sure...

think ive cracked it hadent put the spring under the ratchet!

trying this for the first time and am struggling twith the kickstart internal gubbins (tech term) esp how you position the ratchet device hope some one can provide some details that even i can understand!

i read some where awhile ago that quality was not so good but no direct evidence tho id like to know too

i get about 35 mpg from my mod 99 with amal .....ymmv!

could be a petrol supply problem is the flow good?

update; got a truck filter metal strap works well on the magneto,so i put new points on but couldnt remove the condensor wire, do you have to take the timing plate off(screws are v tight)?

no sign of the famous cracks?

stuart looks ok but expensive for one who wont be around in 35 yrs!
