  1. Having owned a montesa 315r now a 2016 trs 300 i can tell you that all the trs are very smooth, build quality is great, it has been very well thought out. You will notice a big diference weight wise as  the trs is 65kg its a lot lighter and handles really well. Get a test ride on it to see what you think of it.

  2. Ok got the bike started, i drained the fuel tank and washed it out and connected the tank up, then i filled it with fuel and kick it 20 times then left it for 10 minutes started first kick but opened up full throttle. I found out the cable connected to the top of the carb had been pulled out of it position. I havent started it yet but hopefully it should be ok.

  3. hi, Just wondering is there any way of telling that the stator is not working. Its just my bike wont start at all , there is a spark and i changed the spark plug. I checked the fuel pipes to make sure none of them are blocked, the fuel filter looks like it may have a bit of dirt in it but it was like this when i got the bike back, it was starting fine. The bike would often back fire, making me think the stator has finally gone. The bike has been sitting a month or two. Any advice would be appreciated, many thanks.

  4. Hi I am currently doing up my 2011 sherco when looking around it i found a hole on the top head. It looks like a small bit of the top head has came off. Is this normal i could post a picture of it, if it would help. Any advice would be appreciated many thanks Dw.

  5. I have the 2016 trs 300 to be honest i only ever use second and third gear They are a great bike they are really smooth and they have been well thought out. My next bike will be the trs rr 300. The shock in the standard trs the r16v isn't the greatest in my opinion as the reiger is a lot better. All the trs are going fine and parts are a good price for example a piston kit for all sizes is £121.00 .In my opinion it really depends on your level of riding as the standard bike is perfect but if your want better suspension and more power the raga is the way to go.

I have a 250 standard, i had a gas gas betor, here is my comaprison:

The TRS has a planted front, smoother throtle response and incredibly efective brakes.

The GG has stronguer side stand suport and starts easyer.

The confidence i gained with the TRS has inproved my level very much.

    Great bike!!

Yea its a great bike and the build quality is very good, I am also riding a lot better all the stages i couldn't do on my old bike i can do with ease on the trs.

  7. Hi had the same problem when I got my 300 trs couldnt get it to grip at all. The problem was I opening it up to much as I was so used to my 2011 sherco 290 which didn't have a lot of power. After 2 days of practicing I adjusted on how to ride it now the grip is unbelievable. The 300's tend to have that much go in it that it spins a lot in the wet.

You obviously have not seen me ride, 300 and me should not be mentioned in the same sentence it would be utter carnage ?

The 300 vertigo is very smooth and easy to ride so is the trs. The only difference is a 300 has more torque.I bought my trs 300 without having a go on a 300 trs  its really smooth making it easy to control this is the same with the vertigo.

what about the vertigo they have  a RR also

Have any of you ridden both TRS and Vertigo what did you think?

I have the 2016 trs 300 and i tried the 2016 vertigo combat camo 300. Both are extremely smooth, i went for the trs as i hate steel frames and i heard quite a lot of things where going wrong with the vertigo at the start but i know they have the problems sorted out now.  I prefer the TRS as its easier to maintain just as well made and i preferred the way its old school technology i found the vertigo is to advance in terms of being high tech , both bikes grip extremely well. Either bike is a good choice it really all depends, you need to ride them both to see which one is right for you, in my opinion.
