    Another Seeley.

Hi, the Seeley I have been offered does not have matching numbers if that helps.

    Another Seeley.

Thank's Big John. The bike in question was supposedly supplied with white mudguard's, and they have been replaced. They look okay though. I have seen a few Seeley's and I don't think I have ever seen two the same. As for the stories re production numbers etc, well I am sure you have heard them all yourself. So who knows???

    Another Seeley.

Hello all, I have been offered a Seeley 200. I have not seen it in the flesh as yet, but judging by the photo's it is a minter. Some history unrestored, not reg'd until 83. It has a Wes silencer which is obviously not correct. But it has white mudguard's. I think it may be one of the last ones built. Did any leave the Seeley workshop with white mudguards? Also has anybody had a replica silencer made. Len Savage sticker on the bike, may have sold the bike when new? Thank's.
  4. Thanks all for your advice.
  5. Hi, I have just purchased a Fantic 125 twinshock and forgot to ask the seller what is the correct petrol/ oil mix ratio. Any ideas, the bike is about 1978. Thanks.
  6. I wouldn't worry about it mate. That should be my middle name as I am a bricklayer and I find I say it a lot through the day when there is a question re work etc. Anyway back to subject in hand, nobody is worried, you go out you have a go and you learn as you go along. I am crap so I have just enquired about about Steve Saunders school 1 day course. A mate has been helpful(Pitley) and as with anything you will always learn in life. My advice is get involved at the other end, observe for the club you are a member of, that helps a lot. You are involved and you can watch all abilities etc. Good luck

    Majesty Ty200

Hi, I can point you in the direction of the person you want to speak to re fuel tank's, seat, sump guard and even a new frame if you want one. Go to ebay.co.uk and type in item number 8042125712 and you will find a recent sale he had running. Contact him through ebay. I have not dealt with him but he is the man you want to speak to. Good luck. P.S. sorry I don't know about the piston required, maybe RD400???
  8. Thanks for replies I have received up to now. It is the one on ebay I am looking at. I will contact the seller. Thank's again.
  9. Hi, I am on the look out for a Pinky Yam 250, as a novice I have been advised by a couple of mates that a Pinky is the way to go as I have a TLR200 and although I like it I just can not seem to get on with it. (Stop waffling) I have seen a Pinky for sale, it has been bored to 270. I was wondering if the rebore would change the bike that much power wise for a novice (read crap rider) also the inlet manifold has been shortened to "improve" power. Again should I as a novice maybe stay away and find a bog std 250. Or to put it simple. What does a 270 kit do to a Pinky. Thankyou.
  10. Hi, there is talk of a bloke around here who fitted a Briggs and Stratton piston in his Seeley, (shocking I know) if you can contact Pitley he may be able to put you in touch. I dont know his name sorry.
  11. Hello everyone, I am a new member. I have a TLR 200 and I am a complete novice. After having a go on a mates Seeley I was convinced my TLR was not steering properly. Is it me ? Any tips on how to improve it I would be grateful. I was advised to buy a Pinky instead ? Thank's.
