The video is all of our classes. Novice through Champ Class. No Gila Monsters. They are just as scared of us as we are of them.

Spark Arrestors. The forest department requires them on all bikes. Since trials bikes do not come with them we have to add them on.

The snakes are starting to come out. Not to much riding left for me this season in the desert. I had a lot of comments about the music I use. Some like metal and some do not. So I used Iron Maidens slowest song they ever made. All three music clips are actually maiden. The song is Journeyman.

The website is starting to be updated on a regular basis now. We go practice most Sundays at Oak Flats. He is more than welcome to join us. Sometimes people post when they are going riding on www.arizonatrailtalk.com . There is an observed trials section in that forum.

Some video of a trial we had at Orizaba mine in Arizona this past weekend. We only got video of intermediate riders because our normal camera person was not there.

Here is some video of a Trial we had last weekend in Kingman, AZ. It was a buddy check trial so 90% of the video is of intermediate riders (The wife followed my group around). The last few minutes is of some expert riders.

The video was shot just outside of Phoenix, AZ at Oak Flat campground. Its probably 300 acres or so of boulders, dry creeks and lots of rocks. There are also lots of canyons to go into as well. A group of us go there every weekend in the winter. The summer its to hot. There was a world round there back in the early 90's I think.

I grew up watching him. My friends and I lined up 14 flower pots to see if we could jump them on our bicycles when we were kids. Just trying to be like him. We did not make it and mom got mad! Had the toy stunt motorcycle and the Rocket motorcycle he used to try to jump the canyon as well. RIP E.K.

Old guy Ray was kicking my butt this weekend. He is a heck of a rider and a great teacher. I just hate when he gets on my bike and shows me how to do something on it....Because I have lots of excuses when I can't do something and usually I blame the bike not my lack of ability.

Get the 4 stroke!

Rode my first event yesterday. I had a blast on the new bike. The trial was in the high desert in Northen Arizona. Lots of thick sand. Did quite well in the sand. I Liked the bike on the ups and on the drop offs. I learned more each loop on how to ride the bike. By the last loop it started to come together. For example. when going at an obstacle you really have to go for it. Not letting off a little then giving it more throttle. I had to give it throttle to get the front wheel up and then nail it to get the bike up the rest of the way. A little different from my 2 stroke. Over all I was impressed with the bike. Now keep in mind I am only an intermediate rider so I am not that good anyway.... Can't wait for the next event.

I got an 07 4stroke Scorpa about 2 weeks ago. It was different than my Gas Gas by far. It took a few rides to get use to it. Now I like it a whole lot. Easier to balance and it feels more stable than the Gas Gas I have. Not as much power as the Gas Gas, but all the power in the Gas Gas got me in trouble quite a few times. Its very smooth with a lot of low end power. I had to change my timing when I would come to an obstacle because of the difference between the 2 stroke and the 4 stroke. I am riding in my first event this weekend on it. I guess that will be the real test.

I watched Shaun ride on Saturday and Sunday. He rode the loop with no minder. He also finished his 3 loops in about half the time the other riders did. It did'nt look like he was trying that hard. He looked to be having fun and talking with the spectators. I think it would be great if the riders from across the pond would come here and ride in our series. It would make us better in the long run.

I did the adjustment to the pipe that TomskiY said. It worked great. Not being very mechanically inclined, it was very easy to do. Thanks again! Thanks TRock for doing the actual work while I poured the cold ones.

On the new 07 Gas Gas models does the rear wheel hit the exhaust pipe? I have an 02 280 pro and I keep wearing holes in my pipe. I have bent the brackets back but it still hits and wears through. I am looking at getting a new bike soon. So any help on this would be great. Also I am not a small person. I am about 235lbs and 6ft 4' tall. So this could be the reason the tire hits as well. I did put a heavier spring on the 02. Thanks.
