  1. A good time to start? When he can ride a bike without training wheels (start very easy).
  2. My brother and I showed up at a local ATRA (moto) event (Canada) and put on a kids bicycle trial. Only 3 riders rode and they had a blast. Maybe next time there will be more kids show up ready to ride.
  3. I have done this mod and it is worth it. Just to give a little more info, each 1mm you take off is 60 grams and the 12mm would be 720 grams. I personally took off 10mm and it kept the bottom end grunt but excelled the reving speed and access to the power.
  4. Try IP Ale from the Tsu Sina Indian Reservation in Canada. I - Indian P - p*** Ale I am not kidding, that's what it stands for. Truly the worst stuff on the planet.
  5. I put in the Mitani package and there is no problems at all. I start when cold and put in gear and I don't lurch one bit. the feel is now the same as the 04 txxt pro clutches. These clutches are the best I have ridden contact Lewisport and he will help you. Thanks for the stuff Adrian! Jason
  6. Try a colder plug too. This will slow the engine down a fair bit. Cheers
  7. Replying to emails would be nice. Quick question Adrian, the clutch pack had a price sticker on it of $20 less than you charged. Why?
  8. Thanks!!! Trying to get service over here in "The Colony " in a royal pain. Cheers, Jason
  9. I bought the 315r Mitani clutch pack from lewisport and I can't get a reply back on how to install them into a 315r. There are 2 light discs and 4 dark cork, what bloody order do I put these things in?????? Jason H
  10. The bb5 has a little less leaverage than the bb7, they also do not have the adjustability of the bb7. If you are on a budget get a bb5 with a half decent lever. I have a cannondale lever on the b221 with a bb5 and it locks up easily, however the echo has a bb7 with a speed dial 7 by avid and I can adjust how the brakes work (feel and modulation). I prefer the bb7above all other cable brakes, DO NOT get Hayes they are crap!! mx1 work when they want to and the mx2 have no adjustability besides 1 pad adjustment. mx1 1 adjustment mx2 1 adjustment bb5 2 adjustments (both pads) bb7 5 adjustments (both pads, 2 cable adjusters, and a modulation adjuster(so you can use a cheepie lever)) The best brake out there is the hope mono mini trials brake (get a second mortgage to buy these) Hope this helps Jason H
  11. Name the 5 contestants you would like to see on this show (IanJ is excluded).. http://www.ifilm.com/video/2759586/collect...nnel/viralvideo

  13. Put your bike up on a stand/bucket so the weight of the bike is on the skid plate. Use a measuring tape to beasure from the rear axel to the screw holdong your rear fender on. Then take the tape measure and measure the fron axel to the crown. Put on your riding gear (to get a better weight measurment) and stand on the bike with the tires on the ground, get someone to measure the same spots again (this is your pre-sag), tighten of loosen the springs untill you get around 3 inches. For an more advanced rider it should be 2 1/2 inches, int to beginner go 3 to 3 1/2 inches max. Have fun Jason Heidrick
  14. Happy B-Day man, any pics of the new beast?
  15. For the UK i would say onza or echo (Echo, GU, ZOO!, Adamant are the same company). http://www.tartybikes.co.uk/category.php?id=10 Cheers Jason
