mostly springfield mo riders at chadwich about 30 modern bikes without a club anymore but usualy only 4 or 5 at chadwich on a decent weekend. you can ride and find plenty of sections in the 12000 acre forrest there is a 5 acre trials area that is really good especialy if you like ledges email me maybe i can meet you if i cant ride i can hook you up with some of the locals
gabby I think you mean northwest arkansas there doesseem to be some excellent terian in that area if youve never been to chadwich its worth the 60 mile trip
neott (northeast oklahoma) held one event in arkansas last year there is usally a handful of riders at chadwich national forest (200 miles north in missouri) on most nice weekends (great place to ride).

Its you and the many like you that makes trials what it is. Youth Nationals last year was planned as a one time adventure. we decided to come back this year and now am already planning for next year

Sign me up for $15 worth also. I wonder also if it might also be a good idea to put some mention of how much easier trials is on the pocketbook. If an motocross rider wants to give trials a try he doesnt have to have $5000 invested in a mx bike and another $5000 in a trials bike. Unlike mx he can do just as well on a $1500 8-9 year old modern bike untill he gets bit with trials. Ive noticed from the uk forums where its really popular there seems to be a lot of riders still using the older bikes.

I strongly agree with the last two post. In sw missouri we have no club but have at last count at least 30 riders getting together at riding area chadwich national forrest usually 7-8 on any decent weekend nothing organized other than maybe a friday night pnone call or 2. In the fall a two day will be at one of the three clubs within 250 miles of us. and usualy 2 or 3 will go. Exception may be at oklahoma promises to be a really good event about 15 riders say there going. I spend most of my time riding on my farm and a couple of neighbors farms kinda a family gathering with a few buddies coming over. I am by no means saying anything wrong with riding events. I might go to several if they were closer and on saterdays. However if they are no events in your area or loading up and being there at a set date each month just doesnt work there is still a lot of fun to be had. Dont know much about golf but seems like 3 or 4 guys get together and play and hardly ever play in tounaments and what seems to me as a boring sport has became quite popular.

my 01 2.9 started making a hissing noise sounds like coming from top of cylinder thought at first coming from fan but continues when fan is off. I also saw 2 drops of antifreeze below water pump on skid plate but nothing on cylinder exaust seems ok no moisture. my question is if my water pump was going out could be making the noise. drained tranny oil doesnt appear to be milky but need to change oil on my other 01 and compare

brian i was meaning that the new beta 80 is a great bike with lousy fenders the mec fenders are fantastic compared to the beta. im in sw missouri would take $400 for mine good bike except needs primary gear to run
brian i tried the morini webstite the answered me in only 3 days to tell me they had no record of a morini engine ever being put in a mecatecno. I realy am not interested in a complete bike as i need to sell mine as my son has moved up to a beta 80 (great little bike with lousy little fenders and plastic).$700 is about right in price thats what i paid for my amigo
