    This is a question on behalf of my mate that has just bought a Sherco 2.9 year 2000 Can anyone tell us the correct ammounts for FORK OIL, and GEARBOX OIL, and COOLING SYSTEM. Thanks in advance for any help.

    Hi Aaron...Thanks for all you VERY good info/advice. After posting that message..the one for sale got snapped up by someone else. SO..never mind..and I'm sure you're right about the Beta clutches. Probably just needed a good clean up/new oil etc. Thanks anyway...

    I've been looking at a Rev 3 2002 that is for sale...but it has a considerably noisy clutch...(goes quite when you pull the clutch lever in)..Has anyone any advice about this??,,,Is it a big problem..i.e. needing a new clutch, or just slightly worn plates??......Although there is this noise, the clutch still seems to operate properly. Thanks for any info!!!

    Thanks Jay..That sounds like good advice. Can I clean the WHOLE exhaust that way??...would the end part not get too hot??...since its only aluminium...(or something like that). Of course I'm happy to do the header pipe the way you suggest. Cheers

    As in many things, I reckon the only way to tackle it is to try and be smart!...Try to educate all those out there, about the difference between TRIALS..and green laning etc. Mind you...thats a HUGE battle, even alot of my ROAD biking mates STILL dont know the difference between trials and motocross. MAYBE..one day ..when Joe Public really KNOWS the difference, they will then treat us differently from the hooligans that show no respect to the land/land owners.

    Its about time I cleaned out the exhaust on my 2002 Rev 3 250. I've read some ideas of burning the goo out of it. BUT..I'd be happier trying to clean it out with fluid. I was thinking petrol or kerosine. Any advice/other ideas/information.....I'd be very happy to hear it...before I "learn by my own mistakes"....AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!
