    '04 Rev3 Update

Congrats Terry....and welcome to the world of Beta!!!! I'm still REALLY happy with my 02 Rev3 250.......and I'm sure you'll be the same with yours!!
  2. Just thought I would wish everyone luck at the TC Trial...and hope you all enjoy it! AND....please have a beer or two for us geographically challenged lot who would LOVE to be there but cant. HAVE FUN!!
  3. Aaaah ....typhoons...close to my heart...and they're great fun. Even went for a ride in the last one. At least the rains warm
  4. Maybe its me....and I'm still in Hong Kong. SHOULD be in Japan watching but I've got to do that bloody work thing!!! Thanks to Jake Miller and Andy for keeping us informed though!
  5. I have the XPeed. It really depends what kind of climate your in. The Xpeed is a bit to hot for here in Hong Kong....BUT...it fits REALLY well...and very comfortable/light/resonable price Just bought an Arai..which was obviously a bit more pricey...BUT is much cooler to wear...which in the 30oC we have here now...and 90 percent humidity...is quite welcome!!
  6. Thanks t-shock Thats really usefull info. In fact it is the white one...but i THINK I can get my hands on the red one also...so I will now try for that one...although, I think it needs a little more restoring, so your parts sources will also be very helpfull. THANKS

    Spark Plugs?

I use a NGK BP7ES..........but only because its hard to get a Champion N7YCC here in HK. But..thanks to r2, I now know where to get some Champions, so I will be using those from now on
  9. NO...but my teacher here in Hong Kong, showed me some Japanese trials magazines..you're right..they are serious about it. Will try to find out about any Japanese vids
  10. Hi r2 Checked out that web-site you suggested. It was going really well untill I realised, what LOOKS like on-line shopping is NOT. Did you call them to order them, or what?...I would love to get the ones you suggested. Might even help me to brush up on my SPanish...as well as my riding!!
  11. Doh!!! Stupid me...just realised I was on the wrong page.!!!...nice shots of the tank too!!
  12. COOL...nice pics Marky G How about a shot of the tank??...or is it still raining too hard??
  13. Dabster...they're not really Hong kong Pooey specials..they're actually the same as you'll buy there...sometimes the same as you'll buy in a nice shiny packet from a famous brand....but MUCH cheaper. Last longer than the suits too!!
  14. Good on yer boofont....and I AGREE...last one to put their entry in is a POOF!!!!
  15. Hiya...can't help you on what size it should be (sorry)..but if you look on it, there's usually some numbers which tell you the size. If you have trouble getting them...let me know, 'cause I can get any bearing under the sun here in HK...AND they're cheap...could always post you some.
  16. OK all you TC members ....and guests...heres my lecture!!! Remember you are all very lucky to have the trials scene in UK that you do. Of course its my choice to live away...but I am very envious of your scene there. In a time when its getting harder to find places to ride and harder to find people to organise things for free, you should all be very happy you have these events happening. SO..support your trials events...be pleased you have them!!..get yer entries in!!
  17. Good point neonsurge...or rather pointS I guess the Champion advice from factory could be linke to some supply deal they have...and the weather in different places MUST make a difference. From about now untill September it is often between 93 and 98 percent humidity here!!...gets you shedding a few pounds whilst on the bike though!!
  18. Oh..and Steve... IF you DO get a bike...especially after a bit of time off, why dont you try and book a lesson. Seems like there are plenty available now...not sure if it was that easy years ago. I did one with Dougie Lampkin last year and it was VERY good....and I WATCHED one of Steve Saunders schools and that was VERY good too!! GO ON.....get a bike...and book a lesson.
  19. Oh dear....now you've put the cat amongst the pigeons neonsurge Its the opposite on my Rev 3....i.e NO knocking with the Champion plug...and SOME with the NGK...I have noticed that higher octane fuel helps also. This debate could go on for a while...but maybe its different for me here 'cause of temperature/humidity...and maybe it was specific to here??..when the Beta factory told our dealer here, that we should ALWAYS use the Champion..and never the NGK?? COnfused...I AM
  20. Thanks for the spark plug info r2....will check it out now...Hope they'll post me a box to Hong Kong!
  21. Thanks wobbly...will check that out in a minute...in the meantime....ridgrunr..I got some Gaerne soles for my Sidis...so I've now got the perfect combo. Thanks to BVM-Moto....so if anyone wants soles...go there...and they were about 17 quid
  22. Thanks Aaron, Will try to have a search myself also...and let everyone know if I find them.
  23. Thanks for that Aaron... I think I will try to get some of those..never seen any here though.
