Thanks for the replies, after looking at a fair few trailers finally opted for a pm310 single bike trailer by ERDE. light at only 60kg easy to lift up to store on end in the garage, or lift on to side on one wheel to push it through the gateway to store in back garden. will see tomorrow what it tows like with the bike on Phill
  2. Has anyone got or tried one of those folding trailers by CMF or Phoenix trailers, thinking of getting one thanks Phill

the bush is in 2 parts , 1 pressed in from each side. i used 2 flat blade screwdrivers to start to lever the first bush about 1mm or enough to get a small gap between the bushes, then using the screwdriver or a suitable drift in the gap carefully tap out the first bush. the second bush is now easy, just place a socket in the hole left by the first bush and carefully tap out the second bush. the bearing is a ball joint type to get to this for regreasing remove the 2 dust seals then you can spin the ball joint to regrease. to remove the bearing you need to carefully remove the 2 wire ring clips ( 1 each side ) then you can tap out the bearing. reassemble the bearing- wire clips and dust seals then i used a nut and bolt to compress the 2 halves of the bush together hope this helps Phill

thanks for the replies i`ve just been down in the garage to check things on the bike, it has not lost any coolant from the rad this time but i did only run it for a short while earlier. whilst rebuilding i did check for any play or wear in the water pump shaft and it was fine.i put the new seal in with the spring side nearest the impeller as this was the way the original came out. i now use super cool as a coolant. i have just checked on the oil and it has cleared, it has been standing for about 4 hours, so i am hoping you guys are right in thinking that there is still bits of water left in the gear box from the previous leak. i will give it a couple of oil changes and test it over the weekend. phill

Hi all i have a 06 rev3 250, had the clutch inner casing corrode (seems quite common) around the water pump, replaced it with a new one, but i did use the old seals and bearings. next time out on the bike i noticed the oil was milky again, so i replaced the water pump oil seal with a new one, fresh oil in, but on starting the bike up the oil turned milky straight away. has any one got any ideas what the problem could be and how i can fix it. thanks in advance phill

Hi all, I have an 06 rev 3 250, how easy is it to change the lower bush or bearing on the rear shock. How do i get the old bush out, are the metal inserts just pressed in/out, hope someone can advise so i dont damage my shock thanks Phill
