  1. X lites are brillant and really grip well but they do punture very easy on big trials (As I've had 2 or 3 times already). I now carry the dog turds and a pump everywhere with me. I really don't like using X11's but will be using one at White rose.
  2. Though that the trial was great again! Well Done. Clubman route could have been a bit harder on Saturday. Also a bit too much queuing on Saturday. What about a 50/50 route between the clubman and national routes? Sunday was good!
  3. I believe running 400 ml helps the clutch bite better as it gets a little warmer. I've always run 400ml on all my previous Evo's with out it creating a problem. Lampkins suggest Putoline oil, you could try ATF and see if you get any clutch slip or drag? I always used ATF in my Gassers. Have you had a problem with the clutch slipping in 5th / 6th?
  4. There are a few of the lads still riding. Ivan Philipson was riding last year, I've seen Adam Norris, Phil Dis obviously is riding, Tony Wilson, Myself - Shaun Hoyle, Lee Dando, seen Rob Warner ride at Jack Wood, Saw Lance and Julian Ingham at a national the other month, Tony Scarlett now rides again with us. I believe James Boggis was working in Worksop a few years ago, not seen him riding. Would like to hear from Jeff Wright and some of the other lads from 1982 to 1985.
  5. Hi I've been running 400ml GP10 Putoline. Hope that helps
  6. I also use the VEP discs and have done for a few years now. I have a Factory 300 Beta and found that the discs are as good if not better then the original discs and don't forget that they look nice too. I can't see you having any issues with them.

    beta 2010

Yep I had the same problem too. lost it when I was practicing and got a bit of water in it. It was darkish in the woods and lost the brass bit for good!. you should see it when you look through the carb a brass insert should stick out where the needle goes in. Mine ran but was very very rich ran a little better with the Choke on.

    Raga Crankcase

It's at the bike shop at the moment. But have been told that the clutch basket has slipped as the gear has gone under the basket (while running). This then broken a sliver off the casing (must be where the bearing sits). I've not seen it my self yet but saw the basket had moved big time!! I'm having knightmare on how much it will cost. I've only had the bike 5weeks.

    Raga Crankcase

Hi Had a major problem with my raga which has broken the crankcase and clutch basket after the kickstart gear broke. Has anyone had to buy one and how much was it? I need the clutch side crank case (has anyone got one for a Raga)?? I'm in tears !!!!!! Love the bike its/was awesome.
  11. didn't think about not telling anyone, it's a good idea. Not 40 yet still 4 years off that. Thanks everyone.
  12. Hi to everyone on the forum. Just been looking for trials bits and bobs and came across the forum. I've not ridden for about 18years, used to ride schoolboy trials in the 80's and 90's. I've seen Chris Hanan's name mentioned and Shirty Jnr who I used to ride with. Used to ride for Sheffield and Hallamshire. Just bought a gasser 280 and will be riding first trial on Sunday at Barnsley if I can remember how to ride, not had any practice!!!!!.
