  1. I was told by a reliable source that the montesa/honda fourbanger would be ready for freixa and Amos in Scotland, but there is either somr problem with the project or the reliability isn't there, if thats not one of the same.

  2. Here in the south of England it is pretty much a weekly problem, beta actually supply a lifting kit and all makes were affectted even those withstays above, was ever thus!

Take 2 fat (heavy)M6 washers under each bolt and this should suffice. 3 not usually ness.

Uncle dabsters tip no. 767 :D

  3. Sorry bob can't lay my hands on it but give me an area of the bike you aren't happy with and I'll try to remember a few, as a stopgap.

Jay, did you get the package ok?

I used 6mm plate aluminum, followed johns method and passed the plate down on a stiff wire filler cap to tap hole.

Holes drilled of course. 1 bolt into plate,2nd bolt through tap into plate then 1st through tap into plate and tighten. From memory used the o ring, as they seemed to seal ok.

    Any help? :D

  4. Tap turnaround was one of the mods we always did regardless of metal or plastic tank. The other 73 mods I will post when I get the list out.

The plastic tank mod we did was a little mre sophisticated and involves a metal plate replacing the captive nuts inserted through the tank filler cap, works well.

  5. I think you are asking 2 questions in one or maybe 3. Here is my take.

I like a new bike pretty much every year not because it would make me ride better per se, but its just great having every thing tight and spot on. New tyres straight rims, tight bearings and so on all add to the feel of a bike, and knowing you have the best and latest gives you a boost too.

There is no excuse as far as blaming the bike though.

If you want to improve your performance and your bike is a few years old, a new bike won't make as much difference as say going out for an extra couple of hours practicing and spending another hour prepping your bike, imho.
