  1. If I remember rightly some Sy's were prone to a partial failure of the weld on that(pictured) actuator arm where the shaft disappears into the crankcase?

Could this cause the symptoms you describe?..maybe a Scorpa pro' could chime in here.

YES - But normally slowly loose adjustment as weld breaks.

G520 I suggest you have a close look.

  2. The drain plugs are really soft metal.

Mine rounded off the first time I drained when the bike was new.

I gently drifted it loose and replaced with a cut down standard type bolt.

    No probs since.

  3. Superb Event.

Unfortunately Graham Jarvis and Sean Morris did not make it, but it was well worth spectating to see the fantastic riding of all the competitors.

Stu and Co. did an amazing job getting the sections just right. Many seemed impossible but all were conquered if not cleaned.

Michael Brown was incredible on the day and took the win reasonably easy from James Dabill. Alexz took a excellent third place having his

first ride after recent knee surgery and his Dad did a good job commentating all day. Jack Challoner took a well deserved fourth spot after some

    phenomenal rides on a 125.

A real good tenners worth of entertainment - Well done to all involved - hope it becomes an annual fixture.

  4. Jarvis did well to keep close to Taddy considering he seemed to spend ages just waiting to retrieve his bike after that crash.

Must say I am surprised that he did have a spill there as you would think that section would be less risky on a Trials Bike.

  5. If none of the above work, or the flats are too damaged, very carefully drift the edge round to loosen it and obviously replace.

I sourced a bolt/screw for a few pence from a local fixings company and just cut it to the correct length.
