  1. Boy, you guys are making it hard on us for the next event.... first Sam does a great event in Indiana and a repeat at Bent Fenders. Deb was sooooo excited to place in INT for the first time. Matt had a ball with that EXP jump Biff. Hope Metro can pull off as good a deal as we've had so far. Thanks for all your hard work guys, it was big time fun (even if #1 was a swamp). Craig
  2. I'm hoping to do more riding and less crashing this year at Sam's, sucked majorly last year. At TTC right now, maybe they can teach me to stay right side up. hmmmmm that hasn't worked so far, but we're havin' fun anyway!

    Bad Starting

Doesn't make sense but they will start better hot if you put a richer pilot jet in. I also find I have to choke mine when hot fairly often, usually after it's hot and I shut it off for a few minutes, say to walk a section before I ride it. If you give it 3 good hard kicks and it won't start, try choking it. Craig
  4. I had an 01 321, loved it, was half scared when I traded it of and got an 07 300. The 321 was a great bike, no real problems with it. The pro is lighter, has more power but still carries the low end torque that I loved on the 01. Big difference in the suspension and the brakes. The 300 wins easy after riding through water, brakes actually work which wasn't the case with the 321. Can't really tell you what the difference in the shocks/forks is but the pro stuff is way better. My advise, by the pro unless you are just going to trail ride, if that's the case the 321 might be better but for trials the 300 is a better choice. Only beefs with the 07... you have to learn to start it, all the pros are like that and I never have taken a liking to the shifter, just doesn't feel right, we have had 4 pro models at our house and they all are the same in both respects.
  5. Does TI have a line just for SR A and SR B? If not what line do they ride there? Craig
  6. You should also know that MOTA rules allow any rider to sign up for any class at the event. Food for thought. Some people ride down a class if the weather is nasty..... did I say that out loud? Of course Sam has ordered great weather! Craig
  7. I signed up on the linked page but it doesn't reflect MOTA classes. I signed on as senior A as per Sam's conversion but I can see people messing this up. Is it hard to change classes on your confuser on event day if they need to? Craig
  8. GM Auto Trak II (available at most General M otors dealerships) works very well in Pro gearcases. I have been running my 300 and my wife's 280 on this from the start on advise from the GG importer. Never a clutch issue on either bike.
  9. I have an '07 300 and I have to choke it often on a hot engine. Wife's '06 280 is the same way, I have placed richer pilots in both of them which does help. Wife has more trouble than I do but the bike outweighs her so she has trouble getting a good hard kick. Rule of thumb, if I kick it twice and it doesn't start I choke it. The worst seems to be as you say after sitting cooling off while you check out a section. Craig
  10. Hello all! I am new here. My name is Craig Boardman and I am a Senior class rider from Michigan. I finally decided I should jump in and see what this is about.
