Regarding all the chat about fitting disc brake front ends, does anyone on here have any info on fitting a disc front end to a Sherpa?. And what happened to Dabsters tubeless rear wheel conversion for his Sherpa using a TY mono rear wheel?.

'03 Sherco 290 radiator is leaking somewhere in the honeycomb. Does anyone know if service exchange units are available anywhere (UK) or is it just a replacement job?.

Problem solved. It seems as though both the 2003 Montesa manual and Sandifords are incorrect about the amount of oil required in the forks.

My mate has just rebuilt his forks after stripping to fit new seals. After a couple of minutes ridng around, the forks seem to pump up almost solid and there is little or no compression movement. He's strippped and checked and everything appears to be as it should. Any ideas please?.

Does anyone have any good advice on fitting a tubeless 4.00x18 rim to a Sherpa rear hub, 36 hole?. eg where to get a suitable rim, could a Montesa type rim be fitted as the Sherco system doesn't seem to hold air for any length of time when used hard, any pitfalls to be aware of?. Thanks. PS I've just found an earlier post on this subject with good info from Nigel Dabster. What type of Yamaha hub do you mean Nigel, it must presumably be a 32 hole setup for the Sherco rim?.
