  1. Hi all might be a daft question but didn’t want to start cutting/ disconnecting wires late at night. Simple job of headlight off to put a number board on, followed the two wires red and black from the light to under the tank (presumed I’d find a connector to just take a part) found the connector under a waterproof cover but seems to pick up a green wire ? Now just wondering what you disconnect to remove the front light ? Didn’t want to cut the wires any help ?

  2. I had looked at these before not got any yet but going to have to (keep getting the hint the boots have been at the radiator all week) when I last looked into it a lot of people was using ski boot dryers?

  3. The air mixture screw is at back of the carb, if you look through where your exhaust is you will see it it’s a brass coloured one, you can get a adaptor for this from beta it replaces the screw and has a big head on it to adjust it when riding, if not long screwdriver will do it, as said I would take fuel pipe off and see if fuel tap is working ok the photo you put on with the purple highlight is when the mixture adapter is fitted these are hot standard

  4. My friend removed his on his gasser, he was having problems with his pads wearing quickly only getting 3 trials out of them and nearly getting caught out on occasions having no front pads, gas gas told him to take it out, I have a trs and I am going to do the same

  5. Thanks for the reply yes the carbs a keihn, so is it best to set the mixture screw at a certain point to be able to do it that way like a ful turn out ? as if try setting it fully in you would be able to turn it to come out but won’t be able to turn it in if that makes sense ?

  6. Hi all just wondering what people have there mixture screw roughly set at, think mines 3/4 turn out but been told by people 1 and half ? It’s a 250 2018 rr

also has anyone altered suspension from standard settings?

  7. Hi all just wondered what map setting most run there bike on ? Know some people say doesn’t make much difference also what way does the switch go for wet and dry setting ?

Also done two small trials on my new bike had about 3/4 of a can of fuel through it and is smoking when you open it up, I’ve not really had it opened up as small trials and knowntge garage put a lot of oil in a full tank of petrol has anyone had similar ?

  8. Not heard of all of those issues, I’ve changed from a 2017 Evo and think build quality is as good or even better, better bike to ride but depends what bike suits your riding. Every bike has its issues

  9. Just changed from Beta to rr and wish I had when they first cane out bikes lovely the Beta was a 300 and I’ve gone for the 250, plenty of power and usable, clubman and intermediate 250 is more than enough, people advised me not to get a 300 and I’m a good clubman rider

One thought might be to get a bike that some other riders near you have for tips and support, maintenance, fix it tips etc. All of the new bikes are good....But if you must force me to name a bike get a TRS Raga

What cc would you recomend I’ve been told 250 is more than enough for clubman level

  11. I am currently asking the same question, I’m on Beta at the moment but bit fed up of it but don’t know what to get it’s either a trrs or a 4t but it’s a large amount of cash for both, I don’t know if the 4t is worth all the cash and don’t know if the trs is to..... I’ve had gas gas before personally wouldn’t have another but I had the early pro, had sherco and they was good but bit fragile, Beta bullet proof, vertigo would worry me with electrics but are a nice bike, I’m leaning more to Montesa but only because I want a bike I literally can wash and ride by basic maintance, fed up of carb issues and not sure if the trs will be similar ?
