October 16, 200619 yr Should be veeeery interesting between Dougie and Grimbo as I think the observation scores will be very similar so fastest man wins?? A single 5 or puncture cocks the job up totally. All Doug has to do is catch Jarvis up (4 mins 40 secs) and sit on his tail, watch lines etc. SIMPLE

October 16, 200619 yr Well Andy says I know sod all about about trials riders so when I said Grimbo would win, he laughed in my face Lets see Perce, Ross Danby is riding on a 125 so is there any stats on that please? Also, a bit of advice also if you dont mind , Is it better in your opinion to ride the sections fast as possible knowing you will drop some more dabs than usual saving time or ride the sections properly avoiding dropping points, then ride quick between sections? Punctures are a fact of life in the Scott, half the inner tubes michelin have ever made are scattered round them moors Fixing them as soon as you get them is a good idea.
October 16, 200619 yr I reckon rider no 4 is the man to beat. Having personally supervised his strict training regime of chicken not pork parmo's and limiting his alcohol intake to just six pints of black sheep bitter per night. The peak of this riders physical fitness has been scientifically timed for 21.10.2006 9.02am. After that it is all down hill. The only thing not yet resolved is whether his bed in ITU is in the Northallerton Friarage or James Cook University Hospital.

October 17, 200619 yr The only comparison you can make is a dab is still a dab and a five is still a five and they takes some bloody getting back when you've had one! Forgive my ignorance Perce but is it still a mark for every 2 mins or is it back to a mark for every minute? October 17, 200619 yr Author It reurned to a mark a minute some time ago. Rain's certainly got into the ground lately up here so it's fairly soft underfoot. Today's been a real Scott day, damp & misty with limited daylight, similar forecast this w/e I think.
