Van Choice?...how Small Can You Go?

Featured Replies

2 full size trials bikes will fit in a partner/berlingo with the bars strapped down and no bulkhead. one bike with the bulkhead in and strap the handlebars again.

2 trials bikes in an old shape VW caddy - no prob.

Just remove one rear mudguard...

Once squeezed a Trials Sidecar outfit, a Fantic solo and the three riders in an Ford Escort van! :hyper:

re: the caddy....

do you have to remove the bulkhead to get the bike in?

I've just got hold of an 02 Seat Inca (Volks Caddy?)....and it's got quite a curved bulkhead in it....looks like you'd never get a bike in.....!!

I'm guessing you need to move the passenger seat right forward and roll the rear wheel as far back as you can?

Got a 500 mile journey on Friday to pick the bike up.....just want to make sure I'll be able to get the thing in...!!

Cheers...

I use it without bulkhead now, but I'm sure I used to get bike in no problem with bulkhead in before, mine's a 96 caddy btw.

Mine's a '97 Caddy and the bike fits in with bags of room.

Still has the bulkhead in place and no probs.

A trials bike fits in these van,s no problem as cubby say's

corner to corner i had one and my mate's just sold his no need

to remove the bulkhead .Carted our bikes all over the country

for years with them.

Trials bike goes corner to corner in Caddy 2000 shape. Can you get 2 in a Peugeot partner straight in no bulkhead etc. Has a Partner got a Turbo on. Thanks :D
