A date clash with the Man17 Fisher Trial will certainly have taken some of your entries.

And one tyre will last you all week! Per wheel of course
  3. Fuel tank filler cap off the centre of the tank says its not Campbell and Flowers as they had a beamish Suzuki tank, so the trials wellies suggest Geoff Gadsby and Mick Gaunt who did amazing things on that bike.

Have rode in one of these goretex paclites for a few years, light, waterproof, breathable and tough, also packs up really small. http://www.basecampstockport.co.uk/newsite...&prodgroup=

Try Dawsons of Chapel en le Frith!
  6. First glance i had the Gori rider as Derrick Edmundson
  7. Tape half a power bar and an energy drink to each petrol can. Re fuel yourself as well as the bike.

Try a trial like the clubman class of the Bemrose first, if you enjoy that the Reeth mabe ok.
  9. Once squeezed a Trials Sidecar outfit, a Fantic solo and the three riders in an Ford Escort van!
  10. The word novagar in the event title reduces the entry list.
  11. The best bit of roadwork in any trial is the run from Fort William to Chairlift!!!
  12. Dabster. Or any board members, how do you best see the trial changed and what would you like different in the clubmen sections. As part of the organising team we are very aware that it is primarily an "expert trial" with the addition of a now very popular clubmen class.
  13. Perce, first its sheep, now its tyres Whats next??

Nigel, it may not suit you only being able to dab on one side!!

8 Championship course and 25 clubman course, thats an average of 66 competitors at each round! Quite a healthy series dont you think? Whilst all the solo boys are tucked up un bed the night before a champ round, the sidecar lads are all in the boozer having a laugh!
  16. Make sure your gloves are a real tight fit! If your hands move around inside them after an hour they will be getting sore!
  17. Physco for the win or is he "peaking" too early
  18. Calm down Physco its a month off yet!!!!
  19. rowly replied to jam's topic in Gas Gas
If you gave Raga's gasser to 90% of the people riding trials do you think they would ride better or worse?
  20. Gaskell did run a 360 motor in his Beamish sidecar outfit, but that was tame after Graham Campbell welded a 500 suzuki thumper engine into one. This along with Grahams apparrent total innability to see danger just had to be seen!
  21. About 20 odd miles or so of roads and tracks, normally with a fuel stop about half way.

Janitol, about 30 to 1 in a garden spray container, then an ordinary hose. The bikes clean every time and the bearings dont get filled with water. Only use janitol origional tho.
  23. Get the grinder on the cable slot on your fast throttle tube and convert it into a slow one.

Big John is right, Defra are about to tell us they have downgraded the majority of green lanes to bridalways. They are also introducing a farmers subsidy scheme to keep mechanically propelled vheicles of farm land. Mabe one of the officials from the acu could tell us what the new legislation actually is and how it is going to affect us!!!

Why do most riders in the ssdt insist on new tyres? In my experience as long as there not too knackered at the start they will easy last the week! The only difference in grip level between a used and new tyre up say pipeline is in your head.
