Hi All, Question, it's impossible to find any information on brand geometry online. How does the Head Angle compare between the Evo and the Vertigo? Currently riding a Gasgas Racing and fancy switching to a bike with steeper geometry - general view is that the Evo is a bit steeper, but can't find any info on the Vertigo? Has anybody on here ridden both? Thanks all,

Evening all, Have a question on tyre sealing! Any hints or tips! The rear on my Gasgas was fine, until I rotated it! Now it looses pressure, within hours! I've filled with tyre sealant, but it doesn't seem to make any difference? Any pointers appreciated! Thanks,

Gents, I've got a 2013 Racing, hasn't done much really - but the rear linkage has now got some serious play in it! Do you tend to change the bearings only? Or the bushes and shock DU bushings aswell? Thanks, Scott

I thought the stock was 62.5? How much do you (did you!!) weigh? Yep, that's my feeling. £100 per spring, struggling to see a 2.5Nm change!

Evening all, Looking for a bit of advice on spring rates. I've got a 2013 250 Racing with the Reiger rear shock - standard spring. I'm about 12st and with lots of preload, still feels a bit too soft, sat in travel. But, looks like there are loads of spring options, in 2.5Nm increments...which doesn't seem much? Anyone have any experience of swapping out the standard spring? Thanks,

Thanks for the info Tom - appreciated! I'm rider no. 200 and don't have fuel sorted yet! I'm coming across with the family/in the camper - and my better half refuses to drive the camper, so looks like I quickly need a plan!! I've booked the Glenlough campsite and it now looks like there are some sections there on day 1, which is useful! Maybe I'll need to place some bottles of fuel around the island in strategic places! Hi All, Looking for some simple help and guidance on a Lipo Conversion. My son is very small, so I'm looking to save weight and increase range! Does anybody have a list of exactly what bits I'll need to oder from Hobbyking, to do the conversion? Understand that I'll need a balance charger and monitor/alarm system on the battery pack itself. But, what will we need in terms of connectors and the batteries themselves? Many thanks in advance! Scott

Hello all, I've just managed to find myself a never used 2013.....first day out on it today, in the sleet! Does anybody have the details on what the standard spring weights are? I'm about 80kg with riding kit, even with the preload wound on a bit, the balance wasn't quite right today. Reckon I could probably go up a bit on the rear spring, but could do with some tables/rating info? Thanks, Scott

Chaps, I haven't been on the bike since about 2010.....but, having just moved back to N.Wales I've decided to get something for the winter! How are the current 125s? 2010 - 2013? My last bike was a new Evo 125 and it was a great little thing. Plenty of bottom-end for my 11st frame, easy to ride, plenty of grip.... I fancy another - but, think I read from 2010 they played about a bit with the flywheel/map to make them more peaky, less bottom. I've also noticed a few of these 125 Ossa's about.....they look well finished/light enough - any poke? Keen to hear any thoughts/experiences... Thanks,

Yes, I'm with you on the 'see it' aspect. Taking down to BVM is an option - time permitting. Quite a trek though for us. For £2k, I'll probably leave it in the garage as that will work out at something like £300 per ride!!!

Chaps, Looking for some advice on what my bike is worth? It's done nothing as is effectively like a new bike! I need to sell it on as we're moving house and it's never getting used. Any ideas on fair rate for it? I've tried £2600ish which, for what is effectively a new bike, I thought was quite fair! (knowing how hard it is to find untrialed secondhand trials bikes!!)....not much interest though? Where should I be with it? Thanks

Sorry to hear such bad news...... I have bike shop in that area and some guy 'named' Mark did a fraudulent card transaction on us and took 2 x £2000 bikes! Do you have his mobile number? Some guy on ebay, today, has emailed me asking me to call him re. my Beta.....but, he has no feedback at all?......number he left is: Admin Edit: Phone number removed. Could be totally innocent. Normally, they use PAYG phones and the police can't trace them! (within a workable radius at least!)....

Chaps, Deciding on whether to swap the 09 Evo (which I've hardly ridden) for a 2012 model....or just swap out the shock for an Ohlins! Does anybody have the part number? I'd guess that it's an ATV shock or something similar eye-2-eye wise.... Thanks

Paul, How did you get on with your research wrt the flywheel changes? I'm riding an 09 now (as an adult getting back in to the sport) and am keen on a 2011/12 model...but, do have the lower down torque concerns. Is the swap/mod do-able? Cheers,

....sorted.....!! ...after loosing the will to live, I dropped it back down to BVM for a set of fresh eyes! Turns out that my technician friend!!....rushed the stator change and didn't locate the key correctly!.....it was found stuck to the flywheel! Out on the bike on Sunday and at last, it runs like a dream....!! Cheers all for the suggestions!

Thanks guys..... Stator was an original warranty replacement. No idea about woodruff, I didn't replace it, a friend did....... Hmmm

thanks guys, I'll have a look at the exhaust...can't see how such a new bike could have a fouled exhaust though!!! A friend of mine fitted the stator for me (motorcycle technician) - is there anyway this could have an effect on the timing etc? Just thinking out load really...

Chaps, Looking for some advice.....having a nightmare!! Bit of history.... Almost new 09 Evo 125.....about a year ago, after about 5 trials....started to have trouble with lower-end pull.....then the stator went!!! Roll on a year (bike has been standing).....put the new stator in, cleaned carb, changed jets, cleaned filter, put all back to standard.....emptied old fuel, put new fuel in and new oil.....fired her up!! Ran like a dream in the garden - result! Out to an evening practise trial tonight....first 5 mins....ran great....then, seemed to loose power (like the rear brake was on!!).....and smoke like a bonfire......and would not tickover.....exhaust got so hot that trousers melted to it!!.....oily residue from header pipe gasket and silencer.....exhaust smoked for about 5 mins after it cut out!! No idea what could be wrong with it? Doesn't seem to be drawing gearbox in...as level is still okay.....mixture is correct, jets are as per standard etc etc. Wondered whether the old oil/fuel mixture had separated and the oil had settled at the bottom of the tank?...but, the inline filter looks okay too. Somebody mentioned that the silencer might be blocked?......can't see how though? Any suggestions or ideas guys? Gutted, it's taken me a year to get on it again, and it lasted 10 mins!!

Chaps, It's that one time a year again when I dust the Beta off and try to get out for a trial or two! Can't seem to find a copy of TMX locally so looking for some info on localish evening trials? Any pointers? Cheers, Scott
