My son is just starting to use his Oset 12.5. It seems to be a great little bike. I love the control I have over him on the bike. I just wish there was a little motor braking on it so it doesnt freewheel as much.

My question is for those of you that have been using these little bikes...What have you found as far as service issues, problem points, or anything else that I should know about? So far I have had a few minor issues like a broken connector and some loose bolts on receiving the bike...other than that this bike is great.

I thought that there was plenty of engine braking but I have noticed that it free wheels a bit easier just lately. I don't know if that's something to do with turning the potentiometer screw up or whether it's the leccy motor getting run-in properly.

The only servicing I've done on ours is to oil the chain and check the nuts and bolts, which have all been fine so far.
