Smoky Beta

Featured Replies

hey all

i have an 04 125 beta. i have been using putoline 2 stroke oil. what should i be mixing this at.

thanks jack

70-100 : 1

Edited by matt

I was told to mix it at 50:1 (Beta 125)

To rich, 80 to 1 to 100 -1 depending on the oil you are using.

If you go 80 -1, which is what I run my 200 Beta on. It's something like 56.25ml of oil to 5 litres of petrol. Don't quote me on that though. Check first.

As said before it depends on oil type and quality

i run 90:1 for multi lap events where the bike

never get's a proper clear out and 80:1 on

road trials where you get chance to get it

properly hot .When you ride road trials most

of the time you notice how much better they

run so much cleaner !

Doogle, bet your plug is white with 56ml :banana2: hope this helps

Fuel ratios

That's a good little site. I got my figures from the ratio table I cut out of my old 98 315 manual. No seizures to date!

I use 65:1 / 75 ml in every 5 litres have done with two gassers and me beta but i would imagine all oils have slightly different viscosity's.
