Does anybody make a enduro kit for the 4rt. To get between riding areas we sometimes ride on National Forest Roads.\in the USA. The Rangers will hassle or ticket you if you do not have headlights and taillights. Has any body done a enduro conversion. Thanks

....................dude, I got one of the first 05's...they all came with complete street legal stuff!

you gotta find an o5, owner that will part with his bag of goodies, or, most dealerships did not install those kits, so must have stashed them somewhere...........check around .........................masssso

If you put the wiring loom back in, it will restrict the bike. You would be better to buy a longride seat and put a small 12v battery in it, run you front light off that. Or look at some of the mountain bike or enduro battery lights, lots of choice from companies like braybrook.

The 4rt makes a fantastic enduro ride ....... enjoy

I would like to have the head lite kit also.

Please tell me more about the restriction it produces.

Any body have one they want to part with?

When you plug the standard headlamp loom into the main wiring loom multiplug it earths the green/white wire (from the ecu) in the main loom. This causes the bike to run on a restricted map (you should also replace the inlet restrictor at this point).

To avoid this inconvenience, just remove this link to earth on the headlamp loom - it's obvious when you look at it. Also take a look at the 2 wiring diagrams in your hand book and have a read of my '4RT Restrictors' post last summer

The USFS only allows street legal vehicles on their roads. So you need a plate from your state of residence to ride USFS roads. Depending on where you live this could be easy or very difficult. Usually requires hi/lo headlight, brake light, mirrors, horn, maybe turnsignals, etc.
