So my next question, do you need some sort of special glue type stuff to put the tyre back on to seal it around the bead?? how do you find/fix the puncture??

Its best to find the punture before you take the tyre off the rim  . you don't need gule as the rim has its own design to keep your tubeless tyre on.

Take a look here before changing the rim band.

Also this may be worth a look. I personally have not used it but it looks interesting.

Although it is more expensive than it valve stemless counterpart.

Oh I have no ties with that site, just the only place I have seen those items. May be able to get same items elsewhere

Its a tubeless tyre just the same as your car,so it just needs refitting. Have you found the puncture ? the flat may have been caused by the inner rim tape leaking, they should seal on their own but many , myself included use silicone sealant just to be sure.(on the rim tape not the tyre)

http://www.shercousa.com/pdfs/rim_band_rep...ment_manual.pdf should let you know what you need

Would appear I've cured the puncture in the tyre, went to it today and stillhad it's air in!

When I took the tyre off the second time round I basically did what you said to do with the silicone but I used liquid rubber, from a bike puncture repair kit. Also gave the rim and tyre a good clean.

hopefully it will stay sealed!

Thanks everyone to your responses to this thread, has been very useful!
