When I am filling out the results for an event, when I come accross entry forms with just an initial written in the space for the first name, I just guess the name. I always spell it right on all forms etc, but I am lucky if it gets spelt right in programes. results, award etc. ACU even got it wrong on a championship shield two times out of three!! Totally irrelevant to Trials, but I recall back in my early days of supporting retails systems and EPOS we had an issue selling the early 90's Album by Ce Ce Peniston. It appeared on the limited displays on the tills back then and on printed receipts as "CC Penis".
