if its smoky then its most likely got too much oil in the mix and its an old bike so i wouldnt expect it to pic up quite so well as a new bike will probly be needing a service

too much oil in fuel but and it needs to warm up first

Probaly crank seals/ bearings. stay away unless you want to spend a lot of money on a engine rebuild! i bought a 97 techno that smoked like that!

mine smoked i repacked exhaust and it was fine no smoke and more power
