Does anyone know how good tyre turds are? as i have a punture on the rear tubless tyre on my bike

Also are they a permenant messure?

And are they easy to fit?

Where abouts is the hole?

I had one in the middle of the tread and had it repaired with a 'mushroom plug' I would not bother again. Problem is the rubber on the inside is too thin and you can't prepare the surface without exposing the canvase, then the repair patch does'nt stick or seal properly.

It leaked but it would stay up for just a day.

I think the stripps are a better idea! As you could remove them and replace them when they leak.

dog **** could last as long as the tyre.you get a pack of five ,we have used the hole five at once and worked.you need the tool for puting them in.remove one strip and put it in the tool,half way up the strip. put it in the tyre half way up, remove the tool and thats it. dont cut of the eccess, just leave it.if not enough add more.hope this helps willie.

Awesome things for long lasting repairs. I find a flat blade screwdriver better than the proper tool as they tend to pull the turd back out plus one less weight to carry on road trials.

i had a nail in the tyre on my shogun and i put a dog turd in it about 3 months ago and its still sealed perfect

no you use them sraight from the packet.

Ormplus is correct in that you can use them straight from the pack, but I've always coated them with tire patch cement prior to insertion. Just makes a more positive seal and never had one leak.
