August 28, 201213 yr Author haven't seen it yet, will know more by mid Sept. I can guess at a two part system, a separate base that connects to the throttle body through the filter box. Then slide the filter onto the base and screw on tight.
August 29, 201213 yr Combine the new air filter system with the new rear fender and it just keeps getting better.....take a look at the flexibility of the new fender at this link on YouTube, you'll never break another one again http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IwpcsHxaO7Q Edited August 29, 201213 yr by canada280i
September 1, 201213 yr Hi I' ve seen ten new 2013 Ossa's at the local dealer/importer. But all without a screw on filter. Still the same "old" filter is used. I think Ossa has lots of old stock. Conclusion: not available yet. Greetz Hein
September 2, 201213 yr The filter might take some time to get out and re-fit but the air-box is so well sealed unless you ride in seriously dusty conditions all the time it might be a twice a year job, its not a big deal... The new rear guard looks awesome! Pitty I bought spares of the old type...
September 14, 201213 yr 2013 Rock's, Been converted from Beta, that rear shock is a dream. Did get the Twin map mode switch, not sure if working correctly or I have to blow two different maps to the ECU. Will try next week when I get Appys computer to play with. Think I am on MAP 14, Edited September 14, 201213 yr by deepcliff
September 16, 201213 yr Anyone know if they will release a retrofit upgrade for the air filter? Dad did ours today and I avoided him as there was a lot of cursing, fortunately we don't ride in very dusty conditions and the air box is so well sealed that the filter doesn't need regular cleaning.
