as title.

for the sake of 2 qwid or whatever they are im thinking of trying one.

any downsides to using one?

these bikes are a gravity fed fueling system so i dont want to put an unnecessary restriction in the line.

if they needed one that bad bikes would come with one as standard perhaps?

what say you?

If memory serves me correctly, Modern bikes have a filter screen in the fuel tank at the petcock. My 2000 Sherco also had a filter screen on the inlet to the carb. Both of those have "bigish" holes. But a second in-line filter is not going to hurt anything and will provide more peace of mind.

In Line filter is essential, there's no downside to it,fit one

I agree. The screen filter on the Dellorto and in the fuel tap keep out birds and small unsupervised children.

I would always add a good in-line filter. I've used the small, clear in-line cone shaped filter with the sintered

bronze element for many years with excellent results.

i havent got round to purchasing and fitting a fuel filter yet.

im having enough bother trying to keep it rideable. everytime i fix something, i find another problem.

im starting to fall out of love with it.

if it keeps up with being the money pit that it has been then it can go fuk itself and ill part ex it for a newer one.
