awilliams64
Does anyone know a good alternative to the gaearne boot paste/polish? i used gaerne in the past, just looking for something comparable and a little easier to get.
irishjohn
I've always had good success with "Sno-seal". You can get this at any outdoor equipment store.

scraggydog64
I use Nikwax on my waterproof road bike boots. On my trials bike boots i use Neatsfoot oil. You get it from equestrian type shops. When the boots are dry brush it on, takes a couple of minutes, let it soak in. Sorted.
ham2
I found that using anything near liquid in viscosity just made the boots too supple and they 'sagged' too readily. Neutral boot polish (Kiwi) seems to work a treat.
