February 19, 201412 yr Some great pics, and great areas to ride. Looks like you have progressed very well. Well done.
February 19, 201412 yr Author Thanks for the kind words Im loving this trials story......wish I tried trials years ago.
February 21, 201412 yr Author Had a awesome session yesterday. Came off twice and learnt how not to do a hill climb. Also buckled down and did lots of cambered turn practice. A good solid 2.5 hour non stop session.
February 21, 201412 yr I did trials as a kid, 20 years ago. I was ok at it when I did it, but stopped at 14 or 15 years old. Now at 35, I am finding even in only a couple of times back on a trials bike I have really surprised myself with what I could still do. It is so much fun on a bike, every rider should have a crack I think. Good work and keep it going, it's even a little inspiring to read stuff like this. Just don't get eaten by a lion or hippo!

February 21, 201412 yr Author I was battling to get traction after the 1m vertical step at the bottom. I kept spinning out, so half way up I decided to shift weight back. I found traction.....a bit more than I planned for though.
March 10, 201412 yr Author Well even though my sunday trial was cancelled, about 16 of us met up for some training. Had a awesome ride and learnt a bunch from the other guys. We rode intermediate lines and I was surprised how well I did. Got a few cleans and tried a bunch of obstacles I would have never attempted if I was riding by myself. Thanks NRTC boys for letting me tag along.
March 24, 201412 yr Always good to have someone there to push you along Dylan. I have just got a Gas Gas 300 Pro, so am looking forward to my first outing on that this weekend. I wish I had somewhere very local to practice. I have to drive an hour to get to my practice grounds and they are only open on Sundays. Makes it hard I must say. Keep updating mate, well done.
April 1, 201412 yr Author Hi guys. Trials has taken a bit of a back seat as my left shoulder is well and truly stuffed. I have two serious events this month, a regional this weekend and a two day national at the end of the month. Ive done no training at all as im trying to save my shoulder. Hope it goes well but I think the lack of training might show. I have been busy in my humble workshop though.....im building a watercooled goped just for the hell of it. Donar parts are from a pocket bike.
April 4, 201412 yr Author Well im off tomorrow to ride my second regional event for the year. Lets hope the lack of training for the last month doesnt hurt my score too much. Wish me luck.....ill update tomorrow evening.
April 6, 201412 yr Author Somehow, I managed to pull off another 1st. Time to move up a class I think.
April 6, 201412 yr Author Thanks Mr N. Nice to see you still following Already started mentally preparing myself for the 26/27 of this month........a NO JOKE, two day national trial where SERIOUS endurance will be the key to a good result. Cannot wait but I am pooping myself though.
April 6, 201412 yr well done! Those sore bits usually disappear when you get on your bike. Wait till tomorrow though. TLTEL
